every one will have their own bias. I'm a dodge/ram guy. but I know people that have had issues with all manufacturers. my best suggestion is that people go drive them all and see which one they prefer and can enjoy. because they all have their issues. also gas vs diesel will always be a debate. all depends on your needs. the weekend puller that commutes with their truck daily to an office and home usually just needs a gas engine. but if you can live with the gas mileage of the diesel it is nice to have when needed.
nascar is a nationally televised so yes they have to be somewhat "Politically Correct". but they have said that there will be no more political sponsorships. they said no more dixie flag because a lot of people said it made them uncomfortable (I don't agree with this one) but it did bring in new owners and fans. I don't like Bubba but if you notice a lot of his sponsors also sponsor the telecast. Brandon Brown took their sponsor to a mid level person for approval during the holidays and just said it was a bitcoin sponsor and didn't include the LGB part. he was already told no earlier.
bms was only a failure due to 3 days of flooding rain where they couldn't prep the track. also they ran it during the day. there is a reason we run dirt races at night. BMS dirt was giving the same FU that COTA was given. this year it is on Saturday night and hopefully the rain stays away so we can get a turn Cup race on a properly prepared Dirt track. The race tonight was a great race and entertaining.
he's a tv guy and a part time racer. I can guaranty he's not "strapped for cash". it maybe he only ride. but he also said in an interview that being a ford performance driver he is trying to help rick ware's program. he is racing more than just the 500.
