    I have always had trouble understanding this deal. This race is teched as close as any race you will ever go to. People have to understand that if they get anywhere near the front of this deal what ever they have on the car is going to be looked at.

    I’m with ya josh42. What a great job by the folks that have taken over out there at HMP to land that series on the race schedule. Not sure where i will be that October day, but if i am anywhere near home i will be there. I think Paul White that is the series champion is the guy that won that enduro race at cotton bowl and got dq’d for a wheel cover. And he had them covered up that day. It was a cold one in the stands that day as well.

    We have a very good baseball team for sure.

    South Texas Speedway and Texana are real treats. And of course Cotton Bowl is first class as well. I have not been to I-37 yet. And the NASCAR race at TMS with 2 nights of dirt racing is coming up soon. just ordered my ticket for the dirt races today.

    A buddy of mine went up on Saturday, he sent me a picture of the 2020 car. Nice wrap.

    I agree with this, i think now that bell is going to be in the 95, i suspect the dynamics of the support will be considerably different. So much for no more than 4 car team rules.

    Its a 1 year deal though. And I think that is because the sponsorship was in place for Menard to run next year as well.

    From what I read the Menards sponsorship is staying in place. Hope he does well.

    I see there has been a little movement at the Wood Brothers 21 today.

    It may not matter, real good chance the Custer kid takes over that deal next year.

    Thats about as a quality of a promotion as you can get. Very well done by that organization.

    Kyle was probably half way home by time Kurt even made it to the media center for the mandatory post race interview. Thats what they do now. The race to get out of the track and to there private planes is as big as the race they run on the track. I camp in the infield for the fall race at Talladega. They shut down all traffic for the driver and team carts to get to the airfield next to the track.

    Yes it does help, and i appreciate it, i am out of the country working and a bit limited on functionality over here. But any positive news is great. It’s a great facility and a fun place to go catch some racing and have a cold one. Not only hoping it survives, but prospers as well.
