  1. Uh, No.... I was a little off, I went back and watched a video on Alverson Motorsports facebook page. It is asphalt Super Late Models, $50,000 to win and $10,000 to start the race, not points championship. "THE RACE" I dont know anything about it, just telling you what I read. Go look for yourself. Rodney is going to have him live on Feb 7.
  2. I saw where there is going to be a new SLM series in SE that has TV, $25,000 to win and $10,000 to start. That is better than the truck series. I do not know if that is sustainable, but OK
  3. I am not sure who is strapped for cash, But Rick Ware racing has a new alliance with Stewart-Hass racing for the new cars and Roush-Yates engines. Pretty sure there are a million others out there that would love to be in that position. No sin being strapped for cash, I stay that way.
  4. It pretty much happens every race. When it doesnt, it is a little boring. So I would say the fans love it.
  5. Mr Larson is the real deal. All three series had a great championship race. Very exciting to watch. After watching Larsons pit crew in that 11 second pit stop, I sure hate to see the 5 lug nuts go, but times are changing for sure. That was awesome
  6. The only winners here will be lawyers. If everyone signed waivers to get it, that just prolongs the lawsuits. It gives them more to fight over.
  7. I thought it was cool. Lighten up man, have fun
  8. They are doing a good job to stay a little contemporary, but I would have to sit out with HiTech is they went electric. Maybe years down the road, like 50 years. I hope I never see it. This next gen car will catch the newer audience which are the ones spending the money.
  9. awesome, hope to see you there at the Nascar event
  10. That is what Bullies do when they dont get their way. Harvick couldnt beat him so he wrecked him. But Karma got him before Elliott could get back to him. Hendrick needs a badboy on their team to deter these clowns from picking on the young money. Should probably replace Bowman with someone who will take care of these Bullies and think twice. They picked on Logano until he quit taking it any longer.
  11. Yep, her spotter, Clayton Hughes, who was Martin Truex's spotter and now spots for Michael Mc Dowell, was the one that he got in a fight with. Dont know what happened, but he was not there Sunday/Monday for the Cup race and is not listed as the spotter this week.
  12. Yes, those guys are always crying about track conditions. I seriously doubt with running the F-1 cars and the Nascar heavy cars that that track will ever be smooth for a motorcycle. The F-1 race is sold out. What a great event.
  13. MotoGP baby. Going to be a blast https://cotaexperiences.com/2021-austin-motogp-championship
  14. Yes, the two races where they were wrecking for the win and the cup Harvick/Elliiot/Larson finish were really boring. Two wide wrecking at the finish line just does not cut it.
  15. putting dirt on that track is nothing more than a gimmick. The only time a race was that bad was when the tires wore out in a few laps at indy.
  16. Just please keep the dirt off of the track at Bristol. That was 3 great races. Harvick is the classic bully, he like to bully but does not like to be bullied back.
  17. If they did not hit it, they were not trying hard enough. I thought the berms added an element to the race that was pretty dang good. It is cool to see those cars coming off of the ground on one side lap after lap. The berm finally gave out and came up. It broke. WOW Imagine that, something broke at a race track
  18. changing of the guard. Lots of new blood coming in. Old fans gone, new ones packing da house.
  19. Danica is Hot, Deegan is Hot, but we need Angela Ruch back somewhere. Put em all in a race or booth together. Now that would be an event
  20. No better that IROC, a total waste of time.

It takes a few days how to figure things out there. Most of the food and merchandise trailers were in the area of the Amphitheater and soccer field. Yes, Thanks Tavo, Red and Bobbie

Every major sports stadium in the United States gets help from the government in one way or the other. These guys building these facilities spend hundreds of millions of dollars and some over a billion. The economic impact on the local communities is huge. The venues help provide jobs for lots of people. The taxes that are brought in refund the state/government for their help. So, who cares if the owners rake in a little themselves. The refund to them from the fund is audited and helps the track stay afloat while keeping lots of people employed.
