  1. From Racing America A field of more than 30 teams heads to South Alabama Speedway this weekend for the 47th Annual Hardee’s Rattler 250, featuring the SRL National Super Late Models. Naturally, the headlining act on the list is the five-time winner of the event, Ty Majeski. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competitor has won the last three runnings of the Rattler 250, and will be looking to make it four in a row this Sunday. There will be plenty of star drivers with sights set on ending Majeski’s streak. Former Rattler winners Bubba Pollard and Augie Grill, 2016 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion Johnny Sauter, three-time ASA Midwest Tour champion Casey Johnson and 2018 SRL SPEARS Southwest Tour champion Jeremy Doss are among the entrants. The full entry list can be viewed below. The Rattler 250 is scheduled for March 17-19, paying $25,000 to the winner. This marks the first year the event has been sanctioned by the SRL National. For those unable to attend, the race will be broadcast for subscribers on RacingAmerica.TV. Friday evening will see feature action for the Mini-Sportsman, Mini-Cups, Coyotes, Cuplites, and Super Stocks. Saturday night will see features for the Modifieds, Road Runners, and the “Baby Ratter” Pro Late Model 125. Sunday, the focus will turn to the SRL National Super Late Models for 250 laps.
  2. Holy shit Reb!!!! hell yeah that's a great way to get those millions you deserve for your work my man!
  3. Maybe we should start charging to post? Then there is the whole getting paid part.
  4. And they were all behind you MAGIC MIKE!!! Well done!
  5. Same thing I've said for some time. Free platform, no need to use it lol. Tracks have a tool they need to use honestly it's not up to Nick or anyone else to have to hunt these down. When I get results for RUSS or LSSZ I have to go find them. Takes 5 mins to send an email. I don't get it, odds are you post stuff here it will get to social media for the keyboard warriors somehow.
  6. It does seem Owen is the man! Gotta be a good sign hopefully for the pavement. He's the man on dirt for damn sure!
  7. Owen Pittman joined RUSS here is your weekend preview this will be a great show.
  8. It's go time this weekend at Montgomery Motor Speedway with the 59th annual Alabama 200. One heck of an entry list for this one with star studded drivers loaded and ready to get busy. Catch all the action on Racing America. One cool entry in the Mods of Mayhem 58 is the great Texan Joe Aramendia. Cannot wait to see JA back in one of these ground pounders!
  9. The bigger issue is cost now. Nate Ryan from NBC Sports had a great piece on this last week and join the Saturday radio show to break it down. To do all of this now imaging the cost that will be involved to remove the current track and then build that new one and have the reconfiguration complete. Damn shame, makes no business sense honestly. Michigan was in that deal also, and all that is left.

  14. y'all this is lot's of fun. Sign up for free to play it is super easy. Don't even have to like NASCAR but at the end of the year you may win some cool stuff. https://fantasygames.nascar.com/live/league/revved-up-nation-nascar-fantasy-league
  15. Very Nice! Good luck and go get it!
  16. Loved those races at Rio Grande, by the way that place open now would thrive. I grew up in the pavement world and the Texas World Speedway weekends were some of the best times of my life honestly. It's ok to like both for the betterment of racing in the state of TX not sure why it has always had to be one is better than the other. I know why the pavement guys went to dirt it was all that was left and the asphalt midset has moved over also. More $$ the faster you go.
  17. That entire schedule looks great this will be a massive year in Corpus!

  19. Happy Super Sunday! Highlight of my day was talking to #47 and booking him for the Monday show!!!! What a legacy as Hagy came in to those late models when the late models were the shit in SA. It goes well before that as well and he will tell us all about please check in if you can. These legends love telling stories and cannot believe how many of you want to hear them! https://www.facebook.com/RevvedUpSportsShow LIVECAST and audio only: https://revvedupsportsshow.com/
  20. I will tell you all TMS leans heavily on me these days with my Saturday radio show here. I work more hand-in-hand with COTA and their staff for the Austin events prior and more with the SMI team on the NASCAR weekends on those. The SMI/TMS staff is working very had to try to get TMS back to a destination as it was. I will say in my opinion all the bad reviews, lack luster races etc have killed the appeal there and with Mr. Gossage stepping away there are some really great people trying to work in that position. That's a huge obstacle. I have mentioned to them that TMS right now is primed for what Neil did at TWS in 1976. A Texas Race of Champions type of event there to me would give that place some bad ass character at this point. That's what it needs, get people there and again IMO that will do that more that a Cup, Indy etc. Gotta dial it back these SLM, PLM cars are advanced enough to run on the big track, hell so are the street stocks and Outlaws it's been done it can be done again. That dirt track being overgrown sucks make lemonade. Pave it do something there. I fight for us y'all I promise I've mentioned the paved track at COTA to them but as I mentioned a high ranking dude there said I love it what are your thoughts on the ROI. My answer being low, possibly over time (10 yrs) it may develop made his way to go get a stiff drink and change the subject when he came back. Nick said it, it's a business.
  21. 9 straight nights coming up with about 15 divisions of vehicle spread out through those nights. It is a who's who on those entry lists should be some some great racing at the lightning fast NSS!
  22. I'd rather hear George Strait lol Honestly when I worked for CTS they laughed us off because we had live music. But damn we did well on those nights. I remember the night at Austin when they would have a track dance. That worked too.
