If you haven't been by it lately you might want to. Looks like concrete being laid down in the pits when i drove by last weekend. All i can say is this track is gonna make a comeback and a big one at that.

So you think the owner would concrete the pits before asphalting the track? Probably not. But what the heck maybe you can rent a concrete pit spot. I'm sure there is something else behind the concrete but it can damn sure be used for racing stuff later.

that's a laydown yard for the next 4-5 years for a company that is building the new bay bridge...

I have read else-where that the track owners are using the bay bridge development money to improve and rebuild the track with intentions of reopening a revamped CCS. It is my understanding that intentions are 100% to bring CCS back.
