Perhaps we can expand things and get good ole Chuck involved as well as Mary Ann and Jason. I-37 would be a logical choice as they race Friday nights.

Hey Sarge..

Thanks for thinking about me...I wouldn't want to race at a dirt track, but I will take Kathy up on her challenge to run in the Grand cars at THR later this year...(gotta get some seat time in those first!) :D

Good News!

I just got off the phone with THR Co-Owner and Promoter Brian Callaway and he's agreed to the Mary Ann verses Jason match race!

It will be a 5-lap, winner-take-all event on May 15 at Thunder Hill Raceway. Brain has agreed to Mary Ann and Jason getting into a couple of the track's Grand cars and having at it... Those cars are very evenly matched. No Jason, you cannot unplug two of Mary Ann's spark plugs before the start.. LOL

I'm trying to talk Chuck Licata into apointing Jason the Grand Marshmellow.. er..ah.. Marshal for the evening and I'm begging THR flagman Randy Hubbard to let me be the Official Flagman for this historic occasion!

Can't wait for this one...

Guest Mary Ann Naumann

Good morning Jason, first off,

I was just informed of Mary Ann's racing background. lol uhhhh
my racing experience comes from Longhorn Speedway, starting off & on with the Golden Girls & then in a Street Stock for two years with the guys, some that are now with TSRS. Then, my little bit of experience with racing at Thunder Hill is in a Cruiser, not sure if you remember hearing about that class (Probably not @ your age, you may have still been in elementary school, no I did not say diapers, LOL). The cruiser was a car with two people in it, the driver controlled the steering and brake & the passenger (mine was Kim McKim) handled the throttle. Too much fun, I have never laughed so hard in my life. Then the only other experience was in the street division that we had, I would drive the Pace Car and it was two cars each run, l lap, then we moved on until you were out run. Now, I do not have a problem using the new THR grand stock cars, but I think that we should flip for the cars, each run 5 laps, change cars and run another 5 laps. I will take your challenge @ THR, CCMS or I-37 (which, I have NO experience on dirt) or each, not saying who will WIN, but I will give it my best!
Nah no one will jump. I might have to give her a head start
You are 19 (I understand) I am 49, but I DO NOT NEED A HEAD START, LOL! I didn't win every race I raced, but I drove as hard as the car would let me, scared I am not, determined I am and I like a challenge! Kathy T. thank you for your compliments on my driving, as you too have a great reputation in a race car. Jason, I have only one concern, my son, Heath Stewart is running ROMCO on the May 15th date. He is about to become a Daddy & will be running a limited schedule, with my TSRS schedule, that limits my opportunity to be with him. (Yes, that means that you may possibly out run a Grandmother or worse than that, you COULD get out run by a Grandmother, LOL). Just keep that in mind, now with the conflict of the proposed date, I do not want you to think I am wussing out, if that is the date, so be it! I will see you there.

I have a feeling that we had better send an "escort" to Jason's house or else he may get "lost" finding his way to the track. Never to be seen again.

This race could make the News!!!!!!

Any way you could make that happen Chuck?

Then if someone chickens out, it will be publicized as well.

LMAO

Jason just remember she is part of a long list of racers in a family. Just think she's married to H.E. always been a good racer. Son is Heath Stewart a damn good racer, a step son of Bubba Naumann whos also a damn good driver. Not to mention all the aunts, uncles, brothers, fathers, mothers who were in racing.
