  1. 4 million people checked in and between 55-60k in the place was a sure win for NASCAR. That TV number is impressive IMO since there are many eyes glued to the winter olympics. Now if they can get Daytona in without a weather delay there is going to be some great momentum. From Adam Stern: earned a 2.32 rating and 4.283 million viewers for Sunday's Busch Light Clash @LAColiseum , up 168% in viewership from last year and the best for the event since 2016 when it was called the Sprint Unlimited
  2. Dirt isn't either I went to many Waco, Stars & Stripes Speedway and McAllen races the landscape is way different, like it or not people will like this and go to our dirt tracks. If I operated a dirt track I'd be promoting the Clash to my base. This is going to go well. The BMS dirt race was over-hyped and failed IMO. These aren't dirt racing cars. I was on a deal this week with a lady in California and she asked me about dirt racing for NASCAR. My answer is simple. If you want to go down that road have these teams spend some money and build some I-Stocks, with that IMCA package and go racing. Keep these kit cars on the pavement. This 1/4 mile race will be fun.
  3. Have another good one lined up! Ricky Brooks who now runs the Wheel Man Series will be calling in as well as John Alverson from Alverson Motorsports who will be launching a massive race series with a great purse and ideaoligy. Check-in for all the details.
  4. great move. want people to latch on to "short track" racing? Hook this audience. To me living up to this will be the key. Why not a regular short track? Do you want 2000 fans or 50,000? Give it a chance tune in and remember short-track racing is hardly what it used to be.
  5. Do not know any specifics but would highly doubt this will be Texas-based with the current landscape.

  8. There really is an assumption about "racing at HMP" Back in the day yes it was an effort for the "HMP" brand to build a great show which they did. 10 years later when you say racing at HMP it is but it is GCRS shouldering every detail. 4 dates in 2022 may not be ideal but here are the dynamics of why. This is why I say don't say "this week the races at HMP" promote this week "this week GCRS is at HMP".
  9. Most of the time Sir, I did have to miss one last year. United Airlines and Mobile Regional Airport know me well.
  10. Man that's a great point would love to see more dates but that ol drag strip does really well and has a full schedule with Baytown about to fade into the dust.

  15. Don't care to make a huge post but I have my 4 purple car (old 27 Butch car) and the old 31 pro chassis car sitting. I'm not going to race them would love to make a deal on them. The purple one is a Bad MoFo message me for pricing.

  17. TRP has quickly become a hotbed for dirt track racing in Texas and looking at the new schedule that trend will continue. Great promoter and owner with one goal in mind, making this a destination race track. Future continues to shine.
