arob Posted November 8, 2021 Report Share Posted November 8, 2021 Can you imagine the nightmare NASCAR would had faced if the regular season champion who led the most laps in NASCAR history( I thought I heard someone say) won 9 races and 4 of the last 5 coming into this race had finished behind Truex and lost the championship? As a kid, I was a Cale, Waltrip (not DW) fan, and Terry fan and it was great when they won those titles but the championship being decided 3-4 races before and having to finish 18th or better were dull. Chili Bowl Champion, Knoxville Nationals Champion, Kings Royal Champion, Prairie Dirt Classic Champion, All Star Race Winner, 10 Cup Wins, Nascar Champion. I mean you are seeing something right now that you will probably never witness again. An why is it every time something like this happens you conspiracy people have to come out and say the stuff you do? After watching Larsons pit crew in that 11 second pit stop, I sure hate to see the 5 lug nuts go, but times are changing for sure.
