SouthTxPromotions
We are excited to finally be in a position to announce our new promotional company called South Texas Promotions, LLC. The goal of this new company is to work directly with all the local tracks and the area drivers with special events as well as to help market / promote the regions circle track racing. At this time we are not going to limit ourselves to anything specific as this will be a continuous work in progress in areas we can make the most progress first and foremost. We’ve put together goals for 2015 and beyond. We will be striving for what will help the area circle tracks some of which have been in the works and are being worked on now. As a new company we are trying to make an immediate splash with goals for the 2015 season. South Texas Promotions will be led by Stephan Danielsen – the Founder and Promoter of the South Texas Street Stock Shootout - and long term veteran racer Chuck Barber from the Corpus Christi area. The shootout series is currently just past half way in what would be their 5th successful season in south Texas. Chuck Barber, who has 5 championships in his 33 years of driving, has supported the South Texas Street Stock Shootout as well as his son Jarrett both as drivers and sponsor. The shootout series has brought a lot of people together and has created some life long relationships including the one that Stephan and Chuck have developed. To get to this point we have had alot of help and want to thank each and everyone of them. Soon we will be posting our team for this event. Over the last 6 months we have put together what would be our first of multiple events to come. An agreement has been negotiated with Shady Oaks Speedway to host the 1st Annual South Texas Nationals presented by Sabfi Transportation with plans of hosting it over the next 3 years. Even though we have been working on this primarily on our off time and have accomplished a great deal we still will be fine tuning this event as more and more businesses get involved after its announcement. We want to make this an actual 3 day event and not a 3 day race. We want our customers to bring their families, go home and start promoting next years event based on their experience they had at this coming $30,000.00 South Texas Nationals set for March of 2015. We want to acknowledge the Stacy’s with Shady Oaks Speedway and how accommodating they have been in working with us on our initial project together. We look forward to helping Cotton Bowl Speedway and South Texas Speedway in making this region a motorsports haven. Thanks Stephan / Chuck

TheCloser
Awesome stuff! I sure hope STP & TALMS can work together on scheduling. I sure don't want to compete against something this big. Lol. Chuck had a hand in one of the biggest if not THE biggest race to be held at CC Speedway in 1994. Can't wait for this show.
