  1. Agree with Nick, this is the track I would love to see open. Would be the most competitive and produce the best racing. Nick when Red McCombs calls and gets this done call me I'd love to be on your team.
  2. Hey y'all hope you are holiday ready, have spoken to many that asked about watching RUSS but do not FB. Yiu can catch everything on You Tube. 5. I have been told by some folks FOX was the driving force with this BMS dirt deal FOX apparently wanted to give folks what they were asking for which was dirt. I'd have thought Eldora as a spot but I think Tony Stewart is poking the big bear with his new series although it will not be competition for Cup races or racers but Knoxville became a great landing spot for trucks. These TV dollars are massive and I have felt for some time it is a PPV now in the sense for FS1/NBCSN you are having to have "cable" for these packages when they shift to those alternative networks. At some point, I think NASCAR will take a look at what Speed51, DirtVision, Sports Gold, and all of these people are doing and possibly so that route of building their own. They actually already have it but so much content is consumed away from a TV on the move these days. The NFL is the boss but the NBA, MLB, MLS hell even golf have captured the digital on-demand fever. With the NASCAR app, you can get it all except a TV/video feed but that will change I think. Hell who knows its a new world that keeps evolving and this pandemic is showing us new ways with tech stuff.
  6. Grant Thompson a great talent he and his dad are some great people. They came to Houston and won one of our Twin 25's last season. Modifieds at it today: Texas/TSTRS Drivers in the field 99 Casey Smith 72 Johnny Walker 88 Larry Hughes 112 Augie Grill 12 Scooter Bates
  7. Yes indeed.. Jake Wright, John Heil, Anthony Monroe are in the field along with Logan Boyett in Gerald Boyd's truck. Going to be a good one.
  8. The race is going to be horrible. Leave the dirt racing to the dirt series. Race a dirt race on a dirt track that can handle it if it's needed. If I want to see a dirt race I'll watch WOO or one of those series that do it well every night a week. When it comes to Cup as long as I've been alive they race on pavement, and I'm old so I'll stick to that and be good.
  9. The Biggest Short Track Race of the Year is coming up. Y'all check-in as Jacklyn Drake and I preview the Snowball Derby! https://www.facebook.com/nascarhouston/posts/774770113073579

  19. We will be adding an outlet for folks to cast a vote. That will be part of what the panel will review when working to decide. Full disclosure with Chris David and I's many relationships and partnerships with promoters and track operators neither of us will be on this panel we only work as conduits to relay and promote the award and operators.
  20. Many remember Robin McCall tearing up the tracks here in Texas and beyond, had the opportunity to catch up with her Monday!
  21. Yes, one of the best we ever saw on track. Robin hits the RUSS hotline at 7pm show kicks off at 6:30pm. Check in at RevvedUpSportsShow.com or on Facebook at Revved Up Sports Show this will be so cool!
