Thanks Arob, with a little luck I am hoping to make it down for this years race. Last time I made it I think it was still the South Texas Shootout.

I was thinking they called it something else the last couple of years. I know they used to draw good bunch of cars for this deal.

When Stevie was the promoter, they honored his grandfather so the last two years it was the Jerry Whiteaker Memorial. Think they've had a few other variations of South Texas Shootout and Corpus has been running this event since RGV Speedway closed down, it used to be down there. Think STS/STRR had a big race around Thanksgiving in those days. Think the past 5-10 years or so they made the Limited Mod topless for this event.
