hray
Chris, I have 2 questions: 1. Shouldn't STEERING & SUSPENSION #6. say "Minimum 5" coilovers allowed on rear only"? 2. ENGINE OPTIONS #3. What about alcohol or E85? Especially E85 since most series consider it 'pump gas'.
TSRSONETWO
What was the deciding factor to cut bumps for the trucks? More than half the class was on them?
HalfMile
Rusty, you are correct on the coil overs that was a complete typo, I will fix that in the morning. On the alcohol I believe it is best for us to stay away from it at this point. Adam, The decision was made to improve the racing in the truck class. Thanks Chris
adorken
Twin cam rule is a mistake in SC rules. Phew.
CougarGT
Almost all of the Sport Compacts are running twin cams. The "No Twin Cams" rule is going to knock out about 90% or more of the cars.
Ford27
I think they mean the Honda "twincam" not DOHC

hardheadted
I like it. Now if you would just check the engines in the SC cars against the vin numbers at some point it would surprise a few people.. But you didn't hear that from me... I love stirring the pot!! Love the tech guys too!! Heck, I just love racing!! No Drama!! Going to be an interesting year!!

fast18
For the Supers rules say Edelbrock 2101 or 2701. Shouldn't the Edelbrock 2104 be included for those that run 87 - 95 OEM heads ?

hardheadted
I just like stirring the pot a little!! He can check me inside and out. Heck, if he tears me down that's half the work on a rebuild!! We were messing with the cars last night and discovered the heater still works in the saturn as well as the radio!! So if you hear tunes on the track, check Eric out..

hardheadted
That would be pretty funny. We;re putting speakers in the car at least for the first race or two!! I think I'll throw candy out the windows for the kids during pace laps and beer balloons for the adults!!
top_shelf_12
There used to be a Pure Stock here that had the overhead running lights like you'd see on a larger truck. Pretty interesting to see those four amber lights on the roof coming down the straights.
hardheadted
I think little gimmicks like that appeals to the fans also. There is a modified that runs on dirt north of here that has a wig head mounted on the sheet metal next to the driver. Looks just like someone sitting there and he even puts different colored wigs on it thru out the year..
top_shelf_12
Chrudimsky put one on his helmet and raced here and won the Bomber race. Looked like a Fraggle Rock character.
NickHolt
Will CTS run Legend cars in 2015? I don't see them in the rules. Legends, Dwarfs, Legacys, etc, have their own rules so they won't be listed in the CTS Rules Nick
hardheadted
Even though I joke around I am really serious about our racing but I think these little things help keep us from going over the edge and it not being fun anymore... I wouldn't want to race if it wasn't fun!!
top_shelf_12
Obviously Mark is a serious racer too but when he's in the Dirty 30, he seems a little more loose. I agree, even if you get a little chuckle from the stands. Once the priorities are taken care of on mine, I may put a surprise or two in the car too lol.
