racer61 Posted September 15, 2014 Report Share Posted September 15, 2014 There needs to be some common sense utilized in the pits. Funniest thing I've heard all year. People are allowed to walk around the pits straight from the car bar with alcohol in hand. The track does not have enough officials to police the pit area for them or the kids driving on golf carts and four wheelers. Actually some adults too. If your going to drive them, dont park them in the middle of the road. I dont care who your with, your not that special. Yes there needs to be common sense because this is a powder keg and lots of yo-yos running around with matches. Pretty much everyone knows where im pitted and EVERY weekend, atleast once I have to wait on someone who has their eyes on their phone to get out of my way so i can park. They are oblivious to the surroundings. I am NOT complaining about the track. They are short handed and have told me so directly. We (the racers) need to do all we can to help if we want to continue to race there. Tell your crew and family and friends where to walk and suggested routes to and from.
