With 16 cars registered and 26 more that have said they might show up who will be the winner of all the contingencies?

Will guys come from the Rio Grande Valley to come try to take the $100 Mark Herring Race Engines Long Haul Award from the drivers from DFW and Abilene?

Will Former IMCA National Champion Keith White make an appearance to try to win the TALMS Custom Engraved Uncle Henry Buck Knife along with the 14 Outdoors Fastest Qualifier Award?

Looks like best drivers from all over Texas, Oklahoma and Mexico are chomping at the bit to take on the tough 3/8 mile D shaped oval of Central Texas Speedway.

We are almost two months away from TALMS race #2. You don't want to miss it!

I don't know, you only got two of them here and one in a borrowed car. I'm not sure how many of those guys would want to travel and change setup and all. I think there's enough asphalt modifieds around here to be sustainable. I hope it continues to grow for you sportsmod.

Im not sure who the 2 cars and one in a borrowed car youre talking about. I contacted each one of these drivers and many, many more. I have been told no by pleanty of drivers but the list of maybes are all drivers who have personally shown interest and told me they might possibly be there. They aren't committed but they didn't say no.

And the race this weekend is only a local show. The race we're talking about is going to be on July 27th. Under the TALMS Banner. I'm not even going to be there this weekend lol

FOR EVERY CAR YOU BRING IN ONE MORE WILL FOLLOW .WITH BETTER CHANCES OF HIGHER PAYING SPONSORSHIP.MORE PURSE .YOU MAY HAVE A GIANT ON YOUR HANDS .HOPE SO AND GOOD LUCK .YOUR SHOW WILL BE BIGGER AND BETTER THAN THE LATE MODELS .MAYBE JUST A HINT OF THE TYPE OF SET UP WILL HELP EM DECIDE

Tyler Box and Kris Rye, Box drives an e-mod so obviously his car wouldn't work well. I didn't mean any disrespect towards the series in any way, like I said I hope it continues to grow. The only thing I was thinking is I don't know how many of the dirt guys are going to change setups if there's alot to change. I hope they go and support you guys as I would like to see how you asphalt guys do on dirt. Just a hope to see both local tracks thrive and TAMS was a good series so I'm sure there's a pool for you to grow TALMS.

most of those asphalt drivers run very well on dirt .i see some of the dirt drivers that never raced asphalt show a lot of promise ..a few tweaks and the front runners will have company.that i am looking forward too ...

There's a few names that I didn't see on there that kinda surprised me too, but you have a longer list than posted. I was kinda surprised we didn't see a few more of the local guys at the CC Speedway race but it will grow, you're doing a good job and now that you're getting some sponsorship and increased purse that'll help. Good luck Cody.

Both Don Painter and Jason Stanley were able to dominate during their race wins at CTS.

I don't know the particulars of their setups but, they looked and acted like dirt setup cars to me.

I'm sure that any car that runs up front on dirt would have an equal shot to win at this race.
