JamesHigdon
For those who haven't yet heard the NASCAR K&N cars and the NASCAR Whelen Modifieds will be on Monday and Tuesday night respectively. The cars are running on a .4 miles temporary oval track setup on Daytona's back stretch, the races will be on Speed channel.
Truck99
OK, so I cooled off and edited the name calling out of my original post. But that was still a sorry way to "win" a race.

Agreed 100% I don't think I could have controlled myself in his situation.

JRfan
Ya race that hard for the last 20 or so laps and dump the leader coming to the finish... No class at all.
AMRacer89
That kid's way too good to need to race like that. Hopefully, he learns from it. Btw, Mods just got done racing (if you want to call it that), and K&N Pro Series is up next.
racer61
Hey thats good racing for the fans. Tearing up equipment sells tickets. I almost said all that with a straight face. Lol!!!! As for talent, well, money can buy you everything but talent. Flat tracks require skill not cubic dollars. All three races showed those "supposed to be" next Jimmie Johnsons run out of talent. Thus you get the result you seen. Kinda like the snowball most years.

Danielsen Motorsports
The track layout promoted the contact and $20,000 promoted the last lap hero's.
JamesHigdon
3 races and 3 guys leading coming to the white flag end up backwards, if they let the guys fight after the races still stuff like that wouldn't happen!

txtom
if they let the guys fight after the races still stuff like that wouldn't happen! In the case of Stefanik and Park in the mods, that would be alright. But touch the firesuit of one of the teenagers and see what happens. And they know it. Alloutpc17
Take the respectful, real local talent to race those big shows not kids with no respect and cant take losing one race. Those kids need to just be happy the have a car to drive atleast that.
JRfan
Hey if they are gonna strap into a "big boy car" and race "big boys" like that they need to be handled like "big boys." Kinda like 14-17 yr olds being tried as adults for crimes comitted.
MikeReininger
I was told by a race director, if the under age driver gets called into the "meeting room" with a race director, and the other driver, they have to have a parent present, in the state of Texas. Not sure what the laws are there. Bottom line is, it forces you to take care of business before they get off the track while they are still just a number. jracer98
not my line but I like it------>"TV-itis" Same thing used to happen at the Toyota-Irwindale deal and that is a 3 groove track. By the way, didn't Joey Logano get bounced by the officials out there? That was a Nascar deal (east vs. west) right? No officials on duty at Daytona. Not sure what the laws are there. Bottom line is, it forces you to take care of business before they get off the track while they are still just a number. Unfortunately that is right. Because (from how the last few years have been) on track calls have become scarce either due to the all involved rule or the even sh**ier "its just racing" philosophy, so the drivers were left to handle it themselves. A heavy handed official may be feared, but that fear stops a lot of mindless nonsense. But thats also just my opinion.
