I know during the broadcast they said a few drivers werent happy with the tire Goodyear brought. It wasnt consistent which was obvious. But overall what did everyone think about the race? champ1796 Posted September 7, 2009 Report Share Posted September 7, 2009 I enjoyed the race as well. I like Atlanta because it is multigroove giving the drivers a choice where to drive their car. At least the tire was safe but it sure was unpredictable. The cars looked like they were a real handful to drive last night. lilmodified Posted September 7, 2009 Report Share Posted September 7, 2009 i thought it was one of the better races of the season. lot's of lead changes and no real wrecks...it showed the talent of the drivers thru the problems w/the tires, and the knowledge of the crew chiefs to keep the cars on the track. i enjoyed it. Like him or not, him being a player in this Chase deal is good for NASCAR. Richmond race will be good, or could.... lately 2 good races in a row are hard to pull off in Cup.
