ok ill change one word .from a rope to a wet noodle .

ADD .give the person who came up with the opening show a raise ……..wow they had flags as far as I could SEE ON every car in the honors … … the whole show to honor our vets was great . WHEN THEY PLAYED TAPS IT it started to get to me ...a week ago one of my best friends pasted away Zeke Martinez WHO SERVED 10 years in the navy .. and whos daughter has been in the service for twelve years and spent time in Iraq …. with out him I may not have met my wife in 1982 .I remember he said hey I think she likes you .I said ok .he said go after her or I will . I said you dont have a chance .and I proved it .he honored me when his son was born way back then ..GODFATHER .. we played guitars together every where we could plant out arces .he could sing I cant …. going to miss the guy he built person to person bridges along his whole life cause I sure didnt like him till we met ..then I loved him ..RIP MY FRIEND .GOD BLESS AND HONOR OUR MEN AND WOMEN TODAY AND PAST . they are the true HERO.S

like 80 pounds lite I think ...we checked the out of town rules and made sure our car had the fuel to put her over ..3200 at the end just in case .not that we thought we would finish near the front .still working bugs out .but we found something .jesse finished 5th on the track starting 12 th . over all 4th ..car looked to be the fastest through the middle but five cars were right in the way lol... we had fun practicing this is a fun racetrack nice track we enjoy coming to texana .a few screws to turn on the car and then go racing ….I know jesse made someone mad on the last lap but leave the door open and both cars side by side going into the turn . outside car cant turn down and then kick another mans car for the body to body contact after words ..racing just racing ….anyway we look forward to coming back .

HANG them by the ears up on the power wires and whip em with a wet rope … I dont know how long it takes but if they are working on one it wont be aslong as never .

FRoM SEEING HIM as a 7 year old running around cc speedway helping his mom at times sale tickets . to following his brother into the hall of fame . how could one city be so lucky ..who knew where their lives were headed back then I didnt . .working the pit box back then bob sr talking with frank hoch about someday maybe running grand nationals .a dream he had back then grand national was far away from most peoples minds . I suppose bob wasn't just dreaming ……...

well sorta like mad at you for saving me .lol you know lieutenant dan was mad at gump... .. WOW THAT was way too close for comfort A couple of broke legs were not on my list . FOLKS budman is a hero ……… I was looking both ways just not down at that level ..you were there … had another close call at sts a couple of years ago .had lisa not screamed at me I would have been in a lot bigger problem ...either not alive or not walking ever again ..someone used the golf cart lisa was on to hold a very heavy four wheeler up on the bank in turn four .when she moved it set the four wheeler on its way dont the bank towards another parked golf cart ..I was in between .. as I turned out of its way it hit my right arm and crashed into that other cart .others were lucky that cart was there ..pits were full of poeple just standing around ….so she is a hero as well ….. some times I wished I took pictures .

lol.....how you doing old man ..I try every time I can not to be in a picture ..I dont know if its to make other feel good I am not in them or I just dont really see the need I already know what I look like ..

Heck of a dog ..my grandparents had dog just like this dog in the late 60s ..she had the same energy attitude and love this dog has for everyone around her .her name was cassy . she would go dove hunting with me and spent time with us on the shrimp boat ..always wanting to go with anyone of the family who would take her …. I can see why you miss sailor and did not realize till I watched the video that cassy .sailor and this dog all looked so much alike and acted so much the same way ..they are very smart dogs ..

I left my autograph a few times all the way around that track ...even tried racing on my roof . came up three laps and one turn short of winning the race ….I manage to leave a 193 foot skid mark from exit of turn two to turn three .burned a hole right through my roof .funny how the 14 who flipped me look like 41 . with an upside down view ..I often thought once you rub the wall that is as far as you can go .the limit ...and dont go pass that limit .

nick looks like you never go straight on either track .wonder how long the tires last ….walls never bothered me much .

you might be let down on that ….racers good ones will figure out set ups and how to race this track ..

SAD story birdman . we all have something of the sort makes us human ..I had to put sassy down a few years back .she would sleep on my shoulder .. woke up one morning and she did not know who I was or Joshua and Lorraine .13 years of life with her was to short .you just never know how things are going to turn out . and pet turn family member will make even a harden man soft .// great looking family member you had there .

well as long as they dont let a thumper run .they should be ok … both dirt and paved . track .if they can get a shopping center .and hotels all involved ,that is a plus ..

READ about a javelina in the news sorta same deal as babba . FROM 1986..babba was a family pet the state took away from buddy and patsy thorne .babba was very friendly ate ice cream cake and mainly people food .I knew the thornes well and babba the pig .my dad younger brother and sister lived fence to fence with the thornes and babba … my dad was a wielder and always had pipe right against the fence , one day we needed some pipe for Robert driggers race car I took him with me, he did not know babba was next door no clue ,so I thought I would have a little fun I positioned Robert facing away from the fence as he looked for what was needed .babba walked up against the fence and if he did not know you he would take his natural alert stance hair standing up tusk showing and then snorting Robert heard that strange sound and turned face to face with babba he screamed so loud and jumped so high I thought he had a heart attack .I have tears from laughing as I type this .he had to make a fast run to clear his pants wasn't good .but funny as hell .WHAT WASNT FUNNY the game warden was called after 10 years of babba living there ..and many of you should remember it became a popular news item all over the world .. I moved to leon valley in sa just as that was going on and got a shock walking into circle k .and finding every one knew of this ..I handed out where is babba stickers a few days later and later on I am mad too babba stickers ...the thornes never gave up looking for babba and when I drive by the house I think of those two fine people never getting the chance to see him again I know buddy died I dont know about patsy ..I do know many tears for years pasty cried over this .. you know I missed babba too.
