I agree with him on that. This dirt racing stuff with the cup, xfinity or trucks is a gimmick. It worked a few times, time to move on. They are already burning out on road races.

Do away with the charter, we can do without current owners. Me and Hi Tech can build a car and go race clean in the back and get our huge paycheck. Maybe Joe Biden will sponsor us if we wear a dress. The chicks will dig us

ppv would be awesome, less commercials

From what I see, the drivers who are complaining the most about no respect are the ones who give the least respect.
What a true statement. Mr Hamlin dumped a low budget guy just to get a caution. I hope they get him back when it counts

Copy that, the local racing feel is awesome. Lets bend some metal.

Heck yea man, it is a blast watching. If people are talking about it, that is good. That means they are watching.
-
Yep, just throw it in there and see what happens.
-
Maybe embarrassing to the drivers but entertaining to most. The wheel and brakes are in their control, they make their own decisions. F1 does fine in turn 1, but the Nascar boys want to beat and bang to entertain the fans man.
-
I dont go to watch the stands, I go for the action and there was plenty of it. There was certainly a lot of people where I was, but I didnt have time to count them, I was watching the race

Nascar hit a grand slam there man. What a weekend. The F1 guys found out that Nascar racing is a full contact sport.
-
He did run competitive there for sure. He has had some back luck. The only way to get a better funded truck team is to get it funded. The best marketers get the best rides. There is no shortage of good drivers, just a shortage of good marketing
-
Heck yea man, why not, the money is there and they have the TV trucks, why not?
-
Billy Ray Cyrus parked it at the Start Finish line
-
Good Job there man. Was hoping Ty Majeski would pull that one off for the extra $10,000
-
Yep, I found that, also looks like Owen is taking over
-
New Promoter already. Maybe the old one is going to do his $50,000 to win, $10,000 to start SLM deal that they already had TV trucks and funding for
-
What is the payout at HMP? I cant find it anywhere

I think they named turn one at COTA "BIG RED", after the Late Red McCombs. He put up most of the money for that track. In my opinion, that is the best place to watch the race from there. Most Nascar road courses are great to watch on TV. As far as the street races in a stock car, It would not be fun in person and probably just as bad on TV.
-
Road Courses are not very fun to watch at any venue. They are made for television. If you go, may as well make it a party there at the track. Every once in a while, the cars come by. Like every two minutes. But they are a blast to watch on TV

LA TV Market is huge. They will be back.

ok . u race to the checker and this is the way it should be .... just think one more restart would have had a different winner .. if it goes down to the last car running the farthest then so be it makes it fun ...last man standing ..
We may run out of racers before we do cars.

Nice to see a one car team win the Daytona 500. And anytime that Brad Daugherty can be a Michael Jordan money train, I am all for it. Brad has been passionate about Nascar for a long time.
-
Jon Garrett is also in the Arca race at Daytona and appears that he is running the full season
-
Nascar is alive and well. The Daytona 500 is completely sold out. I read where Verizon put over 450,000 feet of cable for wireless connectivity. $27,000,000 purse man, that is big.
