  1. Oh, I see.  Business disputes happen in every business where there are partners.   I am sure there are two sides to the  story.   I heard one side and dont really care.  I enjoyed the facility and appreciate both sides for making it happen

  2. Man, this COTA is a world class facility.  These Premium RV spots are 8 grand for 4 days and they are all sold out.  People arriving spending money like never before out here.  I feel like I have died and gove to heaven.  They is a ton of Lambos here that will be racing.  What a beautiful site

  3. The media seems to make heroes out of people that do not deserve it.   Every time someone gets burnt up, gets in a fight or has a bad wreck, the media jumps all over it in racing to get more hits on their page or site.   How about the racers backing the blue or doing charitable things, give them some love, lets make them heroes.    I have a feeling the BLM would have destroyed much less if the media had stayed away from them.

The media seems to be interested in one thing, attention.

  4. Jeff Luhnow, Tavo and Tim Clark just raised 170 million dollars in a IPO to invest/purchase sports franchises etc.   Word is that they are going to buy a F1 team so he will probably be racing at COTA next year.

The media knows Tavos side of the story and the other side kept theirs confidential.   I really dont care,  it got done and it is time to support it.

  5. What an opportunity to show support for local racing here in Texas.   I am not sure how many they are going to allow, but it would be nice for a good turnout at COTA.   We will be arriving on Wed and staying until Monday.  There may be a shortage on Crown, Vodka and Bushhhhh beer after this event

  6. When bump and runs turn into bump and spin, there is a problem.   Spin a guy two times in the race, he is a bully.  Probably should not try the bump and spin two times in a race if you dont want to have issues in the pits.   Every driver claims he misjudged when he spins someone.   Numerous misjudgments leads to people defending themselves in the pits or the bullies continue to misjudge.  This is not golf, this is whiskey drinking, snuff dipping, camel smoking car racing.  If  little pit action bothers you, maybe gold would be better

I believe you are referring to the action between my son (#22) and the 89. I drive the 52 (and 55) and can assure you guys that it was good hard racing. (No grudges, yet.) Yes, watching the video the 89 drove deep down into 3 and spun the 22. Halfway through the race my son had made a helluva pass on the 89 and the 89 tried to make a move and it didn't work, and spun him. Unfortunately, the 'all involved' rule applied and they were both sent to the back.

The only comment about the last lap incident was that it WAS the last lap and there wasn't a green, white checkered to settle it. Now THAT would have been interesting.

It was all good in the pits (between the drivers) after the race.

The 00, 22 and 89 are within hundredths of one another. That will always make for exciting racing. Quite frankly, 3-10ths covers the class.

I had fun racing side-by-side with the 12. The 52, 12 and 44 were three-wide for 2 laps. Clean racing.

The class has gone through some gyrations but 'The Best is Yet to Come'

Got that,.  If you dont put a knot on their head in the pits for spinning you out on the last turn, last lap, for second place, they will continue to bully you.   Bullies tend to take over tracks and run them.  You know, the fans love that stuff, boys have at it, etc.

  8. The only way to stop the bullies from punting is to get out and bust them in the mouth.  But, they usually wont punt someone that will  do that.  I think the punters are bullies.   Let hope they punt the wrong guy one day and we see jack handles in the pits again.  Man, those were the days

i try not to look at a another teams car as trash ..sometimes that is all the team can afford and think about it with  out what one would call trash you could   have no class of cars over A short period of time  .. .. i have had what would be considered trash when i started  but i  showed up and gave it my all ..  THE GOOD THING WAS  and is still around today is some driver or team  does not want his car torn up by so called trash would help that driver  or team  out .. i was helped . and i helped many others along the way . todays trash might be your best competitor in a couple of years  the family grows you know   . MANY OF THOSE WRECKED CARS  wasnt  caused by trash cars .. BY DRIVERS WHO LOST TALENT AND PATIENTS  ..i welcome all new comers ..because we all were there at one time ..

Yea, I didnt know what to call them, I guess i meant slow cars.  But at the racetrack, when a racer has a slow car, he calls his car a sh__ box, junk or trash.  Just using racers lingo

  10. some gimmicks are fun, like inverting the whole field in qualifying.   Put the trash in front and the high dolla cars in the back and turn em loose.  They did that at one race, i cant remember, but they had to take a break to get enough cars fixed to race.  I think they ran another few races after numerous attempts to start.  Now that was fun to watch

  11. It was a gimmick that was a big dust bowl.  This is just not what I like watching.   I like the high speed tracks that when they wreck, there is lots of noise and metal crunching, with sparks
