rails
Are any of the Texas guys over at Five Flags for the truck race tonight?
RodneyRodriguez
Yes indeed.. Jake Wright, John Heil, Anthony Monroe are in the field along with Logan Boyett in Gerald Boyd's truck. Going to be a good one.
debwill
The truck qualifying results are shown below. I think the race is scheduled to start at 8P.
rails
I am watching on speed 51, the 96 is looking good so far.
NickHolt
Heil 2nd, Monroe 9th, Wright 12th according to Race Monitor... but there seemed to be some unexplained changes in position about halfway through.
rails
Good stuff, pretty good showing for the Texas guys. The kid that won is 14, incredible.
NickHolt
14 year-old Grant Thompson is being billed as the next great American stock car driver by some, but if I were Chief Tech I'd be looking that truck over pretty closely. Just saying...
debwill
I think John Heil finished 2nd. Although Race Monitor showed him finishing in 12th place, Jake Wright apparently finished in 4th place. I understand that his transponder went out during the race. And I think Anthony Monroe finished in either 9th or 10th. And, of course, these are unofficial results pending the technical inspections in the "Room of Doom." rails
I watched it on ppv speed 51 out here offshore. I also followed it on Race Monitor timing. It shows Heil 2nd, Monroe 9th a lap down, and Wright 12th a lap down.

Larry in the top 15 I think. I heard Augie went out very early and I'm not sure about where Scooter finished. Does anyone have the actual Modified results? top_shelf_12
Chris Davidson finished 7th in the Snowflake and John Heil was 4th in the Outlaw class, just read a post from the Five Flags Facebook page.
rails
The scoring tower won last night, we'll see if the tech shed wins today. I didn't see where Ryan finished, he ran around the 5th or 6th spot for most of the race but I think he may have faded at the end.

FryarFan
Great race yesterday. Was great to spend a whole weekend around the racetrack since work has stood in the way the last few years, and especially get to do the whole Snowball weekend during this crazy year that has kept the hospital business hopping every day. Got to talk to Jared Fryar yesterday morning who was spotting for Jake Garcia. And, was great to only have a 1 1/2 hr drive home since we now call Ocean Springs, Miss. home.
