Friday Night Lights at the Ranch

It's race night in South Texas as we have Jr Sprints and the 600cc Mini Sprints joining the local Emod, Limited Modified and Mini Mods plus 4 classes of Go Karts.

All Results are Unofficial and commentary is based on my observations from the stands and I have no contact with track officials during the show. Hopefully I'll make it through the night as I have a first timer with me tonight.

Edmond with a great start but yellow comes out as Fanning spins in 4 but 1 lap was complete.

Edmond with another great start,  intense battle for 4th between Johnson, Waddups and Gilpin. Calhoun and Preston trying to reel in Edmond. Edmond already in traffic and has a half a straight lead on Calhoun.

Yellow will tighten up the field as Fanning spins in 1 coming to halfway. Edmond, Calhoun, Preston, Johnson and Waddups are top 5.

Edmond is flying tonight easily walking away from Calhoun and the rest of the field. Waddups being challenged by Porter for 5th but holds on. Now challenges for 4th

Top 6 separating earlier but the whole field flying. Great battle for 3rd and the whole second group are all battling.

Leader has checked out halfway but a great four car battle for 2nd.

All I can tell you is 72 Alex Karpowicz won and we had one bounce off the wall and go for a ride but stayed on all wheels, driver is ok. Can't see numbers at speed. Karpowicz is the Ark-La-Tex defending champion and sang praises of the track. First time here and was pretty dominant.
