Coastline Waste Solutions Night at the Races

Beach to Bay isn't the only race going on in the Coastal Bend today. Just pulled into the parking lot and see a lot of familiar cars and some not so familiar here at the Ranch. It'll be a full night as six classes are featured this evening, Pure Stocks, Factory Stocks, EMod, Limited Mod, Modified, and Mini Mods. Pure Stocks are racing for $400 as a bonus for going through their entire Feature last time out without a caution. Limited Modified Feature Winner will walk away with $700 tonight thanks to a donation made by longtime supporter of anything racing, Abel Arredondo. Pits look pretty full, extra money on the line for a few classes and all the others are notably competitive throughout the field.

Hot laps and packing just now beginning so come on out, watch on Race on Texas, and of course I'll be updating throughout the evening as well. I have no contact with track officials at any time during the event and all commentary is based on my observations from the stands.

Starry and Leonard spend the first few laps side by side battling for the lead until Leonard prevails. Starry gets out of shape and falls to 3rd. Maupin trying to reel in Leonard as the field stretches out.

Best battle is for 4th as Fox and Liese have been side by side most of the race. Leonard approaching Fox and Liese but Leonard clears, Maupin finally clears but too late.

Dear, Walters, King and Wilson separating. King and Wilson both get around Dear and Walters but caution flies for a spin by Cox. Sturtz rounds out the top 5.

King with a great restart and puts some distance on Wilson,  Dear and Walters battling for 3rd Paul challenges Sturtz for the top 5.

King and Wilson bumper to bumper but yellow out as Markert turns Hendricks and Cox with no where to go as they slide to a stop at the entry to 1. King, Wilson, Walters, Dear, and Sturtz top 5 around midway.

2x2x3 up front and 3 wide for 5th Whiteaker III takes the spot, Paul settles in then spins to avoid colliding with Sturtz in 1 but keeps it moving, no yellow.
