strange asking because I am always being asked in these situations but what is the weather looking like next few days down that way?

Hit and miss showers. Some parts nothing, some 1-2".

Went by the track after work and didn't look too bad from outside the gate. There is water in the parking lot but didn't seem too bad, couldn't see the track or pits though.

Jon, we had a foot of water in our parking lot at the dealership and I didn't get a drop " and I mean not a DROP! " at my shop 2 blocks away. 181 feeder road from buddy ganam to wildcat was flooded because the water couldn't run off fast enough.

I guess hit and miss has been the best way to describe it.

All we have to do is watch THE REAL WEATHER MAN Mr. Allen Holt and see what he has to say about it.

Ya I noticed that too, our shop on Moore was dry as a bone too but when I was near the California streets, plenty of water. Drive back by the track again around 7 and looked like more water in the oilfield businesses on Flato. Hopefully Dale gets one right tonight, said early showers tomorrow then clearing til Sunday

And in Corpus, my house is bone dry then by the track some water so we need the Holt's and prayer warriors for rain in the area just not the track!

The track side of Flato didn't look too bad and only saw one or two puddles in the parking lot.

Maybe I can "borrow" some of the pumps at work lol. Before I get asked, I can't use them, above my pay grade and sure DPS will be all over it if they see stamped equipment in CC.

I checked with Alan Holt, KIII-News Meteorologist, and he said something like this:

 

Pretty good chance for hit or miss showers today (Thursday) and maybe a few less showers on Friday, but the chances for showers decrease quite a bit on Saturday.

 

He says there is still a chance for a shower on Saturday, although less of a chance than on Friday.

It's pretty wet out here in Portland but the sun has been out for a few hours so who knows. I'm going to drive by the track after work. Hopefully the ground's so dry it'll soak up this moisture.
