HiTech Posted April 15, 2014 Report Share Posted April 15, 2014 (edited) MAN WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TOO .LOST A FRIEND HERE IN CORPUS TODAY .BEN WHO OWNED A STORE AND A FEW CAR LOTS WAS A GOOD CUSTOMER AND FRIEND .WHO CAME OVER FROM IRAN MANY MANY YEARS AGO TO LIVE THE AMERICAN DREAM .HE HAD A BIG HEART THOUGH HE ALWAYS TALKED US DOWN ON PRICES ON PARTS .EVERY TIME I WALKED INTO HIS STORE HE HAD DRINKS ON ICE AND NEVER FAILED TO OFFER ME ONE OR SOMETHING TO EAT .HE HELPED MANY FOLKS WHO WERE DOWN ON THEIR LUCK HE NEVER ASKED FOR MUCH AND NEVER DID I HEAR ONE NEGATIVE WORD COME FROM HIM .IF SOMETHING WAS AMISS HE SYMPLY ASKED THAT IT BE FIXED ....... GOING TO MISS HIS LAUGHTER ........NOW FOR WHAT HAPPEND TO HIM .SOME WORTHLESS LOW LIFE'S WHO KNEW HIS NAME AND CALLED HIM OUT TRIED TO ROB HIM .INSTEAD SHOT HIM FROM WHAT I GATHERED IN THE FACE ..IN FRONT OF HIS DAUGHTER .......THOUGH THEY HAD MASK ,THEY WERE SOON TRACKED DOWN ..THREE SKUMS TWO MEN ONE WOMEN.. I AM A BETTING MAN .I BET HE KNEW THEIR VOICES AND REFUSED OR TRIED TO TALK THEM OUT OF IT ..HE CASHED CHECKS SO THEY KNEW HE HAD A LOT OF MONEY IN THAT LITTLE STORE. He's the one who ended up finding these three turds and arresting them. Thank you Jerry for getting these shit bags off the streets. I had known Ben Mustafa for such a long time, and he often made fun of my attempt at speaking Farsi, his native language. When I would come back from the middle east he would give me shopping lists to bring him back spices that you could only get from that area of the world. I would bring suit case full of stuff he wanted. He was a great man, a great friend and he will be sorely missed. Rest-In-Peace my friend!
