You know they always said about Dale Earnhardt --- You either love him or hate him. Same holds true about Rush. I guess we just have to add Neil to that list now. Just put me in the L column. "Big" Bill France had problems building his empire. Upchurch has the the sedans still running and saved the late models when there was a bleak future for them back when TIDA took them on. I saw the the 96 race that Yoemans won, I was (and still am) a Slick fan so I commend him and Allen Yates for all that they did all of those years, not just that night in CC. But , Neil has done so much... hell, I'm hoping he can pull off the re-birth of TROC. Does it matter what happened ? Imagine if Slick would have overtaken Umschied and won the 96 championship ??
