Blue Moon Motorsports
This is a side of racing that doesn't get as much press as some of the others. I think that this is what it truly means to be part of the racing family...you see it in the big leagues and every Fri or Sat night you can see it at a short track somewhere as racers help one another out to get back in the race. We'll fight like hell to win, but will drop everything to help another in need. Morgan Shepherd gets help

ShortTrackFan
Thanks for the link David. I loved the story. We sent Morgan $100 last season and received a handwritten thank you note from Mrs. Shepherd. I was listening to him on the scanner during the race Saturday, he was struggling and talking to his crew, he said something similar to--- take a pound out of the RR & add a pound to LF, crew response was "OK but remember we don't have anybody here, we're doing all we can." KISS_Racing
Morgan told Pancho saturday that the car they used at Texas is their road course car. They didnt get the other car fixed, so he knew about every 11-12 laps he would get lapped. Wish we had our nascar licenses, I would have helped him. Hook's RPM
Right on Blue Moon! Thanks for posting that link. I've always admired Morgan. The man has never hid from or been ashamed of what he believes.
