HORSEPOWER
Peters is the photographer for this one, it says it on the back from the year 2000, he must have a lot more. Anyone know any of the past photographers from our tracks, they should have negatives to several of the past racing.

TAMS boy
Pete Peters was SAS photographer for many years. He retired a year or to ago and I'm sure he has tons of cool pics. No clue on the #1 Brad
Mel
The #1 is the guy from I70...Mcneil I think... He was bad-fast at the Octoberfast. I believe he is the guy that nearly lost his life by fire in a racing incident.

Nick Holt Nick, Here are some photo's from South Texas Speedway , Can you post these for me ? Not sure on all the names, I know some of them . I believe these were taken in 96 but not totally sure, They were mixed in my files. These were when me and Gary Downing were the photographers there since the opening. I appreciate it. TAMS boy
Didn't think O Neal was the #1, but he was fast. He did get injured and I think he made his comeback at Octoberfast. He was sponsered by colors or something. Brad
ups88john
oneal was in the #1 but it was the KC colors car, dont remember seeing that price choppers car maybe kevin prince from the ses? big john
Budman
I'm thinking its O'neal too. If it is, he ran off and hid the first half of that race. Then I think I remember reading somewhere he blew a head gasket and had to pull off. I've wondered at October-fasts since then if he might show up again. Hey, what's with those South Texas Speedway cars? Don't they know you have to turn the wheel to the left to make a proper left turn?
Colt15
the # 1 is o neal. He ran the kc colors car the first year or two then the price choppers after that. I think he actually broke in practice when it was the price choppers car and didnt get to run the race. Positive its him cause he ran some asa races with price choppers as the sponsor
