STOP GOING AFTER 2002.. the cost was way to much .did not get to see the race that weekend rained out and moved to monday my contract with fed ex ground was not going to let me stay i had no one to run my route . 1400 bucks and nothing to show for it all weekend .hanging out in the malls with 7 poeple ..nothing else to do and i hate malls ..have no plans ot go back cheaper to stay home .. it was fun but took alot out of u having to come home after the race . our jobs were more important and all the kids had school .. .

who said that //u do not know me . that go cart on steroid .. but i promise youone thing you can be my guinea pig if u like ... . just over 650 to 700 hp ..u can handle that right say u can buddy . everyone thumbs up for radical make him earn that name .its going to be one hell of a radical ride .. ill sell tickets to pay for his FUNERAL .. sorry world record trophy i meant .......... actually we have it bolted down on the back of a 18 foot rogers jet boat .. the msd system . =we talked about changing over . i know there are some drag racers out there that just may have one ..really do not want to spend the big bucks on a new one for this motor right now we just went through the motor and added those brodix ..not to shabby 13to 1 688 roller and a few extras .....next year after haveing the 19 foot rogers redone . looking at maybe a skip white 632 1000 hp or more . . i dont why the boat now is hittng 85 .at 6000 rpm . could push the motor over that and maybe hit another ten to that 85 .. biggest issue i have with this .u get your feet wet .. and i do not have tires and springs with work with .. we did make a wieght adustment . 40 pounds of sand on the pasenger side for when he has no one riding with him .. .i suppose nicks class did some good somewhere .. we did add mount kz1000 motor back in 1976 onto a go cart frame .charley and i drove it once .decided to live longer .

BEING I LIVE here .. i would not even consider giving a penny .. so much has been destroyed .. w most everything would to be repaired or rebuilt .. i spent all my life around that track from 1961 . a few years i was working to much mid 70s to 1981 .. . i worked on and at that track starting in 1971 . road our bikes around that track many times . so i have tons of memories .. i dont think its worth it ... and anyone hwo is setting up a go fund me does not have all thiers screws tightend .. .lets say it happened .. u have to build cars .. not many cars left most all turned into dirt cars or junked out .

UGLY WRECK .. i would not matter how the cars are built flying in the air and flipping can not be stopped . ..going to happen somewhere . glad he got out . havent heard about any injuries ....

what we have is pull offs ,, and that is what will be on the car .. be insane to ask this class to come to this track having to buy a different set of tires to race there self defeating .. ....... this was mentioned last season if it happened nothing will change just bring the car as it is and go for it .. .. looking forward being there having some fun ..

THE 7 car has not race all season ..the owner has been doing some other things . needed done .. . .but the timing of this race fits right in .. just freshened the motor up today ,first time working on this car sense last season .. .. being old paved racers we are excited for the first time this year to put the car on the track .... .. . jessie and i talked about setting the car up for houston .. i think we have what we need ... least of all it would be fun to burn some rubber see some heat built up on those slicks that helps the tires stick .. heating them up on dirt isnt all that great when dirt is going stick to them .

i was right for a change lol .. when u add owens at your track who runs two dirt tracks it isnt hard to bet against it happening .. that class in one the biggest around .. and we know many many drivers have raced at cc speedway kyle sas .snow ball dirby // and the like ... the class is on slicks .so why not .. being many of us have ran on slicks for years before we went to dirt is a plus against those who only ran those tires on dirt .. when we went to slicks we got some funny looks from drivers who saw us checking tire temps ...... . ... .. i think it would be a fun night for the drivers and the fans .. way to go hmp

Looking to see if anyone has a bb magneto distributor .. we have a 468 twin carb tunnel ram 700 hp jet boat // / BROTHER would love to get rid of his msd set up and go with something simple and clean . i havent measured it yet ABOUT 11 inch

well i would not bet against it not being harold . .. he is just crazy enough but its been a few years sense i last talk to him .. he said then he had a car and wanted to race again .i thought it was just crazy talk .

TEXAS TORNADO ..

SINGLE FILE STARTS should only in the last laps .. but some glasses cant even get a start after three tries sometimes .of have way to many yellows .. u still need to get the race in at a certain time to keep poeple comeing back .. but single everytime just cheapens the races and unfair to those who are not part of the yellows in my books ..

RIVER SIDE SPEEDWAY . i ran on that track in 85 ..at one time it was a motor bike track two of my brothers raced on it .i was not good on motorbikes like them .. ricky and rodney mccain . then i think for a short time mud trucks ran there .. then it was turned into 3,8s mile dirt as i knew the name sometime i n the late 70s i think ...

i think u must have been dreaming ..nick .. nascar running u off .. . i find that hard to believe .. no ill take that back ..

nascar can pay me to paint my truck or wrap it with thier logo . U HAVE time to see my truck as i go by .i am not in such a hury anymore .. and have more time just to run around .but money talk bs walks ..

.. have alot of open land around corpus . ed roy mathis all on 37 .. but corpus is far away from parts of texas .. .. in some of those areas u will not find much reason for urban expansion .. . plenty of land between mathis and skidmore on 359 ... . u can drive right down that highway from anywhere ..

NOmatter what pocono is number one with me .daytona second .. i may miss the whole season except the races at pocono .. ..i just like the racing there ..

MAN how that is a true statement .i bought a 2 time champion car in 89 i got it cheap and someone else wrote the check . . no changes made by the owner i bought it from .. fast car with a slow driver . the car never fit me i raced it most of the season and just never got a handle or ill say use to the handling style of the car and there was nothing wrong with the car . just the monkey behind the wheel . i ASKED ANother driver TO take it out just to see if it was me . he ran 2 seconds faster that i on the first lap .he had a simular set up on his car .. . i went back to my old home grown throw together racecar and won alot of races or ran top three alot of races .. so buying a top winning car does not make u a winner ..

U BEEN THERE NICK .. 24 nomo keeps saying he does not have a dog in this fight. lol .. yet he keeps getting into the fight.. someone i suppose never owned a car raced a car built a car financed a car .. or even sat in one .. . i agree with nick on tires . the only thing designed to touch the track .. lost alot of races against tires , i could not afford a new set every weekend more than one set as some did .... but that gave me the chance to buy pulls and at some times i could buy one new tire to go with the one or two nighters so least kept me in the running many a time and a few wins ..sure makes u work hard at handling and more so driving to get the best of what u had with out buying the best handling items .... the best drivers come up that wayin racing take the least but make it work . .. . rick rapp comes to mind .. i learned alittle from ihim . i won alot of races with junk ..
