I tried to watch it to the end, but finally gave up and went for a bike ride at the beach. I refuse to trade my fun in the sun ... for their ignorance behind the wheel.

If NASCAR truly wants to fix their package, then stop allowing endless blocking from punks like Lagono and others.  It kills the show and any continued interest from fans (new or old)

I'm truly amazed they haven't figured that out yet?  Until then, I'll stay focused on open wheel racing!

I know you said punks like Logano. I do remember someone by the name of Earnhardt who use to do the same thing many years ago. They all will block.

    LOL, yes sir.

Did you see that car cover they tried to put on Denny Hamlins grill?  I have never in my life seen that much tape put on a car with the exception of qualifying.

I heard someone switched the tires that were laying in Truexs pit.  Someone sabotaged him.

Yeah, I don't understand any of that. Very interesting!!!! Some kind of team orders or just a mistake by two teams under pressure?

  3. 3 Joe Gibbs drivers in the Championship Round. Don't like two of his drivers. One is arrogant and the other is just an ****. My pick and hopes is the #4 to take it all. I agree about Kyle and the points system. He had a mediocre last half of the season. I don't mind using the points system as is to determine who the 16 drivers are. But after that reset everyone to zero.

  4. I never intentionally wrecked anyone. The majority of my wrecks were just racing incidents. The first year I was definitely on the receiving end. Not so much wrecks but I had one driver who would ram me hard going down the front stretch even though I was not in the racing groove. I  never said anything. Takes a lot to get me pissed off. I knew I was a rookie and had a lot to learn. I have had people think I did something to them but never anything intentional. I have made apologies even though I knew there was a chance the guy I was apologizing too was ready and willing and able to knock my block off. One reason I gave it was because I was tired of people complaining about the least little thing and always wanting to fight. Not necessarily with me but just with drivers in general.

I  did not know of matt till this year .. . you see a driver who loves the sport of racing like we do . not a sun shine and money  driver .but a true patriot to racing .. I see the pain he goes through . he is  real . he remind me of many of us who strive just to win on a local track and would love to have a sponsor and backing we need to  get that extra push .. a blue collar man . he does not have a famous daddy to help him . and his family has given it all to help him .  he makes me want to watch nascar again just to see how well he does .. ..I hope 21 team can give him the wheels to prove he belongs .. we already know it .he does well he will stay . and I bet will be a fan favorite ..we need more humble drivers in nascar .

I had three major sponsors for my racing endeavors. Me, myself and I.

Mr. Suarez needs to be taken out behind the garage.  He wrecked Matt Tift, who was having the run of his life, to get a caution.   Then he asked his spotter to talk to XXX on the restart and make sure he did not race him as hard as Matt Tift was.

I didn't hear that Suarez had done all that. If it is all true there's no place for him in racing. No way would he have done that to Busch or Harvick. If he did it intentionally he knew he had to do it to someone that was not a front runner. Would have really been interesting if he had done it to Newman. That would have paid Newman back for what he did to Larson at Phoenix a couple of years ago.

I don't disagree that rules are rules and you can probably look at the workout supplement Bayley was taking and see this stuff, but a diet coffee drink you would probably not expect to have this stuff in it.  What I want to know is if they tested Matt D, Denny, Kyle, Kevin, Clint the big names of the sport and they had this come up if the would suspend them as well.  I honestly think its who you are in the sport determines if you get suspended or not.

I don't think they're playing favorites. Remember years ago when Jeremy Mayfield got caught? He was running pretty darn good at the time and getting exposure. Especially after he said he wanted to rattle Earnhardt's cage just like Earnhardt did to Labonte.

Matt Borland crew chief for Germain Racing just got popped for basically the same thing.  Except his was DMAA in his diet coffee he was drinking.  He had it tested to find out what it was exactly.  I personally think this is a little ridiculous.  Its almost like the Olympics these guys are getting popped for stuff they don't even realize is in what they are taking.  Its not an illicit drug are they going to have to start screening everything they put in their body?

These guys are not like Tyler Dippel who wasn't even allowed to cross the border into Canada because rumor is it was drug related issue and was pulled over at the border on the NY side trying to cross into Canada.

Rules are rules. If NASCAR considers something to be banned it is up to the drivers and crews to determine what is in the items they partake in. It is not up to NASCAR to tell you this contains this and this contains this. How are they to know where it actually came from? In my opinion Curry and Borland did not do anything intentional. They just didn't pay attention to what was in their work out and coffee.

I disagree. There are an abudance of Sport Mods (Limited Modifieds) in existence. Many of them are not owned by cheaters who spend $10,000+ on an open chambered motor that should cost about $3,500, $15,000 chassis, with $1,000 shocks. Those guys (The cheaters) can stay at the dirt track with the other cheaters. The honest guys who want to run in an affordable series can bring their Legitimate Sport Mods to HMP, and put on a good show for a loyal fan base.

    Amen to that.

Not many people that have won races have not screwed up.  If you are not pushing the envelope and even exposing yourself to this type of stuff, you are a back marker.   Nothing wrong with that either.

Why should you have to push the envelope? If everyone just stayed within the rules everyone would be equal. When you're trying to push that envelope you more often than not exceed that envelope. I would rather win by staying within the rules. It gives me more satisfaction to know we were all equal and I was the best that race.

what my car sliding  . you will get over it I am sure …when you dont  run a track the right way this happens  not like anyone didnt try . you cant have favorites .you cant be friends with everyone you have to be fair . if you are a racer taking over a track you have to forget the past driving and become a promoter .. a lot of things went wrong .and some of it was us the car owners .but it starts at the top ..

Not talking about you old chap. Just the state of affairs with Corpus Christi Speedway.

OMG, show me a racing who is 100% legal 100% of the time and you will never find him at the pay window.

I was 100% legal 100% of the time. I didn't win a lot. Never one a feature but did lead 18 laps of a 20 lap feature one night. Just got a little too high in turn 3 and 4 and lost the lead. I did win some heat races. Although not a feature win it still felt good. I have nothing against pushing the envelope as long as that envelope does not exceed the rules.
