  1. That modified feature was the best mod feature I've ever seen ! Four tips of the hat and a standing O to Jared Maupin , Ryan Doyon , Chris Carroll and Rick Green for some incredible 3 and and 4 , yes 4, wide CLEAN racing. And multiple tips of the hat to Jared Maupin ,Dalton Faulkner and Johhny Torres for hard , CLEAN racing in Factory Stock. Track prep crew deserves accolades as well. Great night of racing!

  2. I hope so this time. Houston had two big money events one for late models and one for trucks. Believe they had 10 or so late models and 16 or so trucks with most of those local. The folks at GCRS deserve better than that given the hard work and effort they put in. Hopefully they get it.

  3. One would think. But so far South Texas Race Ranch has been near or over 100 cars. I-37 had over 100 last race. Texana just a little under that. Cotton Bowl and 105 have been doing well. But it may catch up soon.

  4. NASCAR will never stop or fine drivers for stuff like the above mentioned. Races that run without this drama don't get much press time. As for Logano he has a long history of "aggressive" driving. And it seems it is NEVER his fault or unprovoked. But the fans love it.

  5. As a fan when I saw they were going to a single file restart I wasn't too thrilled about it. I see the reasoning behind it as it has dramatically reduced damaged race cars and multiple tries at restarting side by side . I say we compromise by keeping single file and getting rid of the cone and see how that goes.

  6. Went to the Texana Raceway Park event April 29 and saw some great racing , good car counts and big crowd especially for a Friday night. Then the event at the South Texas Race Ranch to more of the same. While at the Race Ranch a friend showed me a live shot at I-37 the same night and it was more of the same. Things are off to a great start for the South Texas race tracks. Thank you to the promoters and the race teams.

  7. Great night at the Race Ranch! 101 entries . E-Mod race best of night to me due to the racing by Nathan Titzman. Racing side by side with Jaden Edmond lap after lap without contact or minimal at best. Hats of to Mr.Edmond as well. Great job by all involved at the Race Ranch and the race teams. After two events it seems South Texas Race Ranch is the place you want to be on race night in 2022.

  8. From what I saw the race was  less boring than some. Did watch the Truck race which I thought was a good one. For that matter the trucks are better most of the time. Interesting that the driver that whined the most ended up winning. But NASCAR is really an asphalt series. Nice try but leave the dirt to the dirt pros.

  9. I don't know how far back you are going about wrecking the wrecker. I've seen it many times years ago. But attitudes have changed a lot since then. Do that now and you could have a gun fight in the pits.Besides if you intentionally start wrecking him you are not much different than he. I've read a few accounts of bats , jack handles and helmets being used instead in recent years. If it is one guy that is the problem just ban him. Get rid of the one gain three or four. I've seen this done recently and yes it takes a strong promoter to do it.Another reason I couldn't be one.
