It is kinda sad that the end of every big track race ends up with a bunch of destroyed cars just because you can't lift or can't accept 2nd place.

Barker must be high on the all time win list.

Is HMP the Big-H dirt track paved over? If so should had left it alone.

I should had said the biggest short track race in 2024 I guess. 

I just want to thank all the Texas track promoters , racers and their crews primarily at the South Texas Race Ranch for providing some great racing and entertainment during the 2023 season. Cotton Bowl did ! Crowd count Friday night was bad but Saturday night was full. Car count was announced as 177 on Saturday night.Weather was good. Racing was really good too.

Sad news.

Getting close for those big season finales for South Texas race tracks. First up is Cotton Bowl Speedway Oct 13 and 14. Last years event had 140+ cars and was an intersting and great event. My hotel is booked and car rented so can't wait to get there. Next up is I-37's TDK event. I-37 has always delivered when I go so I'm looking forward to this as well. This is followed by the Texana Raceway Clash.Nov 17,18. Closing out the season is the  South Texas Race Ranch $5000 to win Sportmod Shootout. Lots of great racing events and we should try to make as many as we can.

Good to see Broc Bowen is racing in the area again.

Thanks for the reply. My concern is those who show up racing with worn out pull offs may make for touchy racing. Have fun but be careful.

Help me here. Are asphalt pull offs good for dirt and too worn for asphalt generally speaking?
