  1. I think we all need to sign a petition with Nicks wishes and send it to Michael Dell to make it happen. Maybe promise to name the track after him and allow farmers to enter free, Farmers in the Dell section?
  2. Exactly Hi Tech......They refuse to take even a tiny step backwards to go forwards and increase attendance. Its like "We don't care because we are Nascar and we can do what we want because we call the shots for EVERYONE" Look at the video I posted from the 60's....that's a packed house and everyone is dressed up and enjoying themselves with the family....I recall women used to get their hair done and wear fancy clothes to the races,,,that's how important they were back then and these were local races
  3. This appears to be from England.....People are people
  4. In case you missed the Bristol race today, it was a good race but not witnessed by many. I have seen some articles that it holds 162,000 people and I recall it sold out and was SRO for both their dates many years. I also recall that people "willed" their seats to family members they were so in demand. That being said, consider this picture taken at today's race and compile your own comments and thoughts.
  5. Dave Cooke won 13 times in 1993 at Longhorn......we didn't cheat. Two times we stayed until 5am to prove it since the same guy protested us both times and he was a big time cheater...probably thought everyone was like him. Not everyone cheats despite popular belief.
  6. Yikes!!! Forgot about thanking Rodney...he is right there with Nick and James as well..... Also on that "cold night"....the video shows July 23......is that the correct date? LOL
  7. That was awesome to watch...I remember them all. Haven't read/heard about the Bumbera girl in quite awhile but she sure was determined in the interview that she would be a force at some point. Nick I still remember your interviews as well as James Huff who helped you out at times. I always learned a ton about the drivers from the interviews and appreciated them through the years. How would they get this experience if not for you and James? This is their first opportunity to experience "marketing and PR" and you folks taught them effortlessly how its done....Hats off to both you and James.
