The Cabela's store in Buda is now open and there will be long traffic delay's on Southbound IH-35 through Buda. Make sure you allow enough time to get through or take an alternate route. Josh42 Posted June 30, 2005 Report Share Posted June 30, 2005 I work about 2 miles from Cabela's and so far today the traffic hasnt been as bad as suspected it would be. But this weekend will probably be a different story. They have closed the 220 southbound exit right in front of Cabela's to keep people from shooting off the highway and trying to duck in there and causing a big problem, I think this will last all weekend with exit being closed. Truck99 Posted July 1, 2005 Report Share Posted July 1, 2005 You could take 1327 East to 183. Then take 183 South toward Lockhart to Hwy 21. Hwy 21 toward San Marcos. Truck99 Posted July 1, 2005 Report Share Posted July 1, 2005 I went Wednesday night at their "VIP" opening. Free food, beer, wine, and soft drinks. I was there 3 hours and could have stayed much longer if I had the time. Awesome place! It would be cool if THR could find a way to get some flyers or brochures posted there.
