SASPEEDRACER24
Hey Reb just wondering is the reason that so many drivers are from Texas in the top 15 becasue I37 was open and the rest of the tracks in Texas open a little early? Just curious.
rebelracewriter
SASpeed, Yes the Texas guys get a big jump on the rest of the nation. BUT, IMCA only counts your 30 best finishes, so as the season goes on the North guys will reel in the pack. Example; Witt scores a win(40 points) and drops a 10th(30 points), so he actually only adds 10 points for that. Confusing? Yep a little, but it's easier to understand than the screwy NASCAR weekly racing series points structure. Personally I don't like the IMCA structure, mainly for the weekly points average at each track. But that's a whole different can-o-worms!!!!!
