NickHolt Posted October 14, 2014 Report Share Posted October 14, 2014 DCRST finally back in action Saturday at CTS After what seems like forever the Dwarf Car Racing Series of Texas resumes it's FINAL 4 this Saturday at Central Texas Speedway in Kyle, Texas. DCRST has been idle since the Sept 6h rain out at the wild card dirt track race at South Texas Speedway in Corpus Christi. A big field of cars is expected as the season winds to a close and after 2 race drops in the point standings the season championship is up for grabs. Butch Havelka (27) leads by 8 markers over Dwain Groff (14) at the top of the standings while Arden Vikre (72), Chase Havely (29) and Billy Groff (30) have a great battle rounding out the Top 5 and are within striking distance of the top two. The bottom of the top 10 is just as close with Chris Silvas (85), Rodney Rodriguez (28), Chris Silvas Jr (86), Kevin Hubbard (3) and Rusty Young (88) set to settle the standings in the last two events, the second being at Houston Motorsports Park on October 25th. DCRST is by far one of the most entertaining and popular race series in the Lone Star State and the balance of the season promises to not disappoint.
