CC57
I like the way he just kind of "Aw I don't need this" drops the control yoke off to the side at the end.

txtom
Next time any of you run into Jerry Schild, ask him how he managed to keep his new Dillon off the backstretch fence at San Antonio when his wheel disconnected off turn two while under full throttle...... Or maybe ask Jerry Spencer how hard you can hit that big cement front stretch wall at Pan American when the uniersal comes apart.......... Was that pin sticking out from the steering shaft properly engaged ?????? It did not disconnect at the quick release pin you can see. it appears that the shaft was two pieces, one inside the other, with a through-bolt, and the holes for that through-bolt cracked out, causing the seperation. fast18
My steering wheel came off @ THR on the back straight during a race. Everyone dodged me and I managed to get it back on and keep going. Still it was a little scary. Can't imagine having it happen going that fast. I have a question for everyone. How many of you watched the video then went on to watch the Top 10 Japanese Models video ? !!! I'll raise my hand first !
