He was my hero when I was a little boy going to the races at Austin speed-o-rama and San Antonio back in the 70's and 80's. Some of you might remember him he's my dad, Jimmy Hicks. This is him at Hicks Racing North in Mullin, Tx putting together the 400 for my street stock car that I will be running at Rockingham on Jan 1st. We will be taking two cars to Rockingham, he will be driving the other car. I think we will be the only father/son team racing. At 62 years young we will see if he can still keep up.
