rebelracewriter Posted November 6, 2008 Report Share Posted November 6, 2008 The 20th annual Modified DESERT CLASSIC will also open with a practice on 11-20-08, qualifying on Friday 11-21-08 & Saturday 11-22-08 will see a $3000 winner. A $300 minimum award will be paid at the final spot of the CLASSIC featuring a 24 car field.... Running alongside the Modifieds in their final race of 2008 and completing their inaugural season are the Southwest MODLITES. These speed demons are racing for the $500 winner payout and bragging rights and the 20 car field will see $175 starter pay. Closing out the weekend card and completing the all-modified type DESERT CLASSIC, the SPORT MODS will be racing a regular show on Saturday 11-22-08. The only other race I've run across so far.....what's wrong with Edna? If this is who I think, you live close enough(Houston area) and the Limited Mod payout is pretty good.
