Cleaner
Hey Charles. Been trying to get ahold of your for 2 weeks now. Just thought you may want to know how the new motor held up before the second race. The Cleaner [resized by Nick Holt, 10/10/08]
Mona
J.C., I think it runs better when you have the complete piston. I have seen a broken piston but not like that. We will be there Sunday, I just have to get back with on on a time. I think I may have found you a block. Wesley said that we probably have all the stuff to put a motor together that you need except heads. See ya, Mona

Mona
I think you broke a valve. We can fix that. They have this new stuff they advertise on TV that holds everything together. We can give it a try & see if it really works. Are you sure the block is messed up. I know it needs to be checked, but do you see anything obvious? How about we meet you at Mr. Boehle's shop at 11:00 on Sunday? Is that a good time for you? Let me know, Mona

rebelracewriter
Clean out the pieces......fill the #1 hole with some lead and pull the plug wire......a little super glue will fix that broken valve and some sandpaper to smooth the head.....VOILA.....good as new!!!! You didn't need all that horsepower anyway....
Truck99
Yep, that one is definately broke. And yes, I have seen them like that before - not a happy time.
97car
You know it is bad when you have to wait on the water to drain out before you can remove the oil drain plug. Being the water coming out the oil drain plug, or as another TXSZ racer could put the oil filter in side the block and not screw it on.
HiTech
had one looked just like that ...this year at kyle ..never a good deal ..looking at the clean piston next to it ..verses the others shown may tell you a story ..

poorboy
Look at the valve releif on #5 intake, it appears to have a mark from the valve touching it. I am pretty sure you didn't have enough piston to valve clearance.
