CLEAR CHANNEL ENTERTAINMENT - MOTOR SPORTS ANNOUNCES 2004 "NIGHT UNDER FIRE" SCHEDULE

AURORA, Ill. (February 3, 2004) – With the increasing popularity of the International Hot Rod Association’s (IHRA) Saturday "Night of Fire," which highlights drag racing’s most entertaining vehicles during their Hooters national events, Clear Channel Entertainment – Motor Sports announces the formation of ten one-day drag racing events called "Night Under Fire."

The show features the country’s top exhibition vehicles. Although the line-up varies at each show, the talent includes jet-powered semis like Bob Motz’s jet Kenworth, jet dragsters, jet funny cars, the erratic nitro-burning Fuel Altereds, a wheel-standing school bus and a wheel-standing fire truck, to name a few. The "Night Under Fire" will amplify drag racing’s most exciting, fan-friendly aspects. These vehicles, erupting with sparks and flames, demonstrate the most extreme level of motor sports.

"Our ‘Night Under Fire’ show has something for fans of all ages and designed with the family in mind," said IHRA Vice President of Marketing Aaron Polburn. "Not only will you see these exhibition vehicles under the lights with flames shooting eight feet in the air, but fans of all ages love the smoke, fire, music and entertainment the "Night Under Fire" provides.

"Think of "Night Under Fire" as a very, very fast Metallica concert," concluded Polburn.

A free pit pass is included with the price of admission. Fans can enter the pits, meet the drivers, get an autograph and see the teams work on their cars.

"We believe in ‘opening our locker room to the public.’ You can reach out and touch the drivers," added Polburn.
