I've known Ron since I first went to a race track. My dad knew his dad from the Ford dealership in LA that he used to take his car to and Ron Sr was the service manager. The first time I ever went to a race track was at Saugus Speedway in California where Ron was running a street stock before moving up to the sportsman (late model) series and eventually the Southwest Tour and Truck. You will not find a nicer guy or anyone who is more willing to help the up and coming guy in the series. There is no finer ambasador to the sport than Ron Hornaday and if Ron says that this was to help a medical condition I for one totally believe him.
