Definitive
Sounds like the 7th might be a good time for the track to reward(financially)all of the RR guys for the hard work, and dedication it takes to produce a good car count these days. But I know....I'm not the one flipping open my wallet....so I'll just hush now.... ou81too
Just one question for history buffs what has been the largest car count for a local class at sas, if we have twenty would that be a all time best I WILL BE THERE *! WOOKIE
Racer Duck
in the early days of SAS it was all local classes and there would be upwards of 30 cars per class at each race. keep working .. ya never know when a new record will come along........ C_Malin
Just got the word that San Antonio speedway and USRA are no mass!
Sable99
I think it's pretty crappy that they tell us this after everyone has spent all this time and money getting ready to race at SAS. And you know they knew before the season started.
Jason
So was Terry there or did he let Rick and Debbie take all the heat? Was it the "code compliance" issue?
Modracer
I'm glad now that I haven't sent in my registration money yet. Sorry for all of those who are somewhat left hanging out to dry. Maybe some of the rules can be changed to allow some of those cars to race elsewhere.

So I sell my drag car, buy two circle track cars, and the track shuts down. Now there's luck for you!!! Since I'm new at this...what do we do now...cry in our beer? Or call Thunder Hill and start a new class/club? And how does this affect TPS?

ACE44
Wow this sucks so does this mean all races are off for sas this year TSRS had two races schedueled there this year , I was really looking forward to racing there this year.
NickHolt
Unless someone else steps up to run the track, all racing is done at SAS... Nick
w2racing
Sorry to say this Nick, but I think you mean to say no more racing in San Antonio at all. We will only have memories and dreams. (San Antonio Raceway does not count) Kyle is to far and dirt is not an option for most cars. Houston is a bill that local racing budgets can't afford. I really hope the track found out the same way the racers that race there did. One big butt surprise. Well I guess big money will win. I guess my employer will have the chance to buy that piece of land after all. Prime location.
fast18
This really sucks....but I am sure that THR and HMSP will do what they can to give the SAS guys a place to race. If you know the management at these two tracks then you know what I'm talking about.
