Rookie49
back in those days you could either run fwd or rwd you could claim what ever fit your style .it was never figured out how to put the hourse power in the rear .drag links were invented back then also .if your motor wasnt running good or it back fired .that was where tom came into play . handing nick the poop wiper . that s when nick came up with wiper blades he would just cut off alittle here and there .they were sharp no need to shave after nick got through cleaning .hence shaveing cream was invented .and so on and so on .take thousands of years to tell the story of how nick and us .got raceing where it is today .we.ll be signing autographs at a race track near you . oldtimer, if you ran a pinto in the chariot races did he have to run backwards to be competitive. abrungot
Tom, I think having a stand it the pits is great... not sure if the angle is the best but when it comes to helping the driver when your short on pit crew members.. turn 4 sucks.. direct-flo
I agree If you have to come in the pits to do a quick repair or tire change it would be nice to have them close by. Yes the angle is a little off, but so is turn 4.
UMSCHEIDRaceServices
why couldnt we use the top of thr press boxes where they are right now? Middle of the front stretch. It would be hard to spot from trun 1&2 becuase you are looking right at the fronts and backs of the cars as they enter the corners. Good idea both THR and SAS need a better spot for our spotters to spot from. J.C
direct-flo
I think that is a great location...for teams with more than a spotter. Granted the view is better, but I was thinking of a location closer to the pit area.

gundogC3
Most of the wreck's are in 1-2 you CANNOT see from where they have us right now. When we used to spot from the hill by where the fence used to be...we never had a problem! I'd bet money, that most of the people are just decoy's where the put the spotter's anyway's, someone they can talk to...but not actually spotting from there! direct-flo
I have seen some spotters lined up along the fence by the pit suite building. I think a platform in that area high enough to get a good look would work. What do you think
UMSCHEIDRaceServices
Cant spot good from there becuase your either straight on with the cars or directly behind them, midddle of either straightaway is the best spot. Ask you self Directflow can you really tell if your driver is clear if your looking straight on at the nose of a car? J.C
KISS_Racing
i spotted in a tsrs race at thunderhill where we stood on the single bleachers up on the hill coming out of turn #4.... Build it and we will spot!
