This needs to be addressed. This is not RIO GRANDE SPEEDWAY, McAllen Texas. Rio Grande Speedway , MCallen Texas is alive and well. Racing every other Friday night. Nick can you confirm this to TXSZ followers. Rio Grande Speedway is OPEN.......

I can absolutely confirm that Rio Grande Speedway is very much open and operating. We race the first and third Saturday every month through November and we have the McAllen Modified Nationals the first weekend in December.

While these pictures bear some resemblance to Rio Grande Speedway structures, I can assure you that they are not at Rio Grande Speedway. I think that this may be from the speedway just North of Edinburg that closed when Rio Grande Speedway opened.

Once again, Rio Grande Speedway is not closing.
