USRA23TRUCK Posted July 20, 2006 Report Share Posted July 20, 2006 I heard a true story last week, a racecar driver was pushing for a major sonsor aka fed ex, the deal was done all the driver had to do was meet certain criteria for his contract from fedex for sponsorship. Now fed ex sent this race car driver the contract and the racecar driver UPS it Back to the guy at fed ex, sad to say the sponsor pulled the plug on the deal over it. What was it called, "The Castaway" or something like that, where he worked for FEDEX and was trapped on that island. I heard from a guy on the "inside" at UPS that the movie producers went to them first when they were in the planning stages for making that movie. UPS turned them down.
