ProTree Posted February 17, 2006 Report Share Posted February 17, 2006 Sunday we start at 9am and give each car 1 time trial unless they didnt run sat,them they will get 2 and eliminations follow-if the weather holds out,should be running till almost dark sunday-yes, it's a bummer about the alky tune up ,but teams were coming from across the US and i know i would hate to travel a thousand plus miles and deal with cold,wet stuff.Takes awhile to warm up an alky motor when its freezing outside and on a cold track trying to go 280/290 mph,grip would be lacking a little,whole lot of skating going on.Have a feeling we going to be fighting enough with the race we got scheduled and with what the weather guessers are predicting for the weekend.Only thing spooky is when you turn a couple loose on my end and it starts raining on the other end right when you do and they are on the hammer,that's when I do a dance called "The Tighten Up"and it is an ugly dance.
