SASPEEDRACER24 Posted December 3, 2005 Report Posted December 3, 2005 700 miles, 20 minutes of practice, smaller tires and a few near misses wouldnt stop Kieth Garrett or Tator Mason on thier way to 7th or 8th (can't find anything official ) and 14th place finishes respectively during the 38th Annual Snowball Derby Super Stock Feature. Approxomately 45 Super Stock cars entered the race in which the top 30 qualifing cars on time would start. Kieth qualified 23rd with a 20.32 while Tator timed in 25th with a 20.63, with Donnie Hamrac racing out of Mobile on the pole with a 19.4. There were numerous cautions and red flags with Tator and Kieth missing most of the bullets except for an early incident with Tator which bent a tie rod end but was able to continue on and a scary incident where Garret had a car blow a motor that spewed oil all over the track and his windshield but was able to hang on without incident. Keith Garrett Posted December 5, 2005 Report Posted December 5, 2005 Hey everyone, I just got in and I would like to thank everyone for their support, it meant a lot to myself and im sure Tator that just about all of the central and south Texas racing community came togather and supported us on our long haul to the Snowball and i will tell you this , it was worth it. We still dont have any official word yet but like it has been said , we think I got 7th and Tator got 14th. I would also like to give a huge Thanks to Greg Davidson and company for all their efforts and use of equipment and pit stall, we couldnt have done it without them. It was a great experiance and im sure ill plan on doing it agian next year, maybe we can get some more of our sportsman, street stocks to go with us!!! Thanks agian everyone, Quote
