Birthday Boy Marcus Thomas gets his second Sprint Car Bandit win of the season at Heart O Texas Speedway

July 12 (Friday)Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX, hosted the Melling Performance Race Weekends Across America - MDA Muscling in the Dirt event! The featured class this week was the return of the 360 c.i. Winged Sprint Car Bandits (SCB). Marcus Thomas, No. 15t, made it two HOT Sprint Car Bandits feature wins this season! Along with the Sprints, were the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Southern SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Jr. Limiteds. Check out all the exciting racing action and family fun from Friday night below:
Sprint Car Bandits Feature Winner: Marcus Thomas, No. 15t, celebrated his birthday this week by picking up his second Sprint Car Bandits feature win of the season at Heart O Texas Speedway! Claud Estes III, No. 74e, had a solid second, Jeff Emerson, No. 35, settled for third, Jeremy Jones, No. 5j, was fourth and Daniel Estes, No. 72, was fifth. Blake Mallory, Junior Jenkins, Reagan Reed, Micah Baccus, and Kodey Keimig, rounded out the top ten. Dale Wester, Dalton Stevens, Colby Estes, William Eggimann, Scott Evans, Mark Zoeller, rounded out the field. Seventeen cars started the feature.
Claud Estes III, No. 74e, had a strong run for second.
Jeff Emerson, No. 35, had a top three finish.

Modified Feature Winner: Justin Radcliff, No. 11j, picked up his second Modified feature win of the season! Chris Elliott, No. 915, was second, Kevin Green, No. 5, was third, David Goode Jr., No. 7g, was fourth and G.W. Egbert IV, No. 717, was fifth. Dwayne Grantham, Jeffrey Abbey, Dillion Tindall, Donald Banker, and Derek Scott Jr., rounded out the top ten. Eric Tomlinson, Cody Daniel, Joe Maple, Brent Gilliam, Jason Kingrey, Ricky Kizer, Raymond McFadden, Chris Morris, and William Gould rounded out the field. Nineteen cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: Jeff Shepperd, No. 17, picked up his third feature win of the season! Garett Rawls, No. 4g, was second, Brandon Geurin, No. 12, was third, Taylor Florio, No. 21t, was fourth and Damon Hammond, No. 116, was fifth. Trevor Egbert, Bobby Mercer, Westin Abbey, Gregory Muirhead, and Austin Moore, rounded out the top ten. Sixteen cars started the feature.

Just as aside as everyone is on here talking about how bad online stuff is, Joe said the last straw was a text message. I still say that social media can help and hurt a track. But for the racer that live on social media it would go a long way if tracks would open a dialogue with racers. This way it shows that the track is willing to work with the racers. I talk to alot of Racer and they see it this way.

Ticket booth is open all night. They will be happy to help what ever time you arrive.

Sorry it took a while for me to get back. It's been a busy weekend. My modified measures 70 inches across. My car has 2off and 3 off rims on it. So someone with 4 off rims all the way around will be skinnier. Hope this helps.

Now that the dust has settled and the enduro is done..we turned out the lights for the final time as promoters of 281 speedway. We've made great friends. We've made a few enemies...but I promise we left it all on the field...errr track. Thanks to those that believed in us. I could've never done this without Abigail Heather, she's worked way more hours than I ever have, I just make videos. So race on peeps and we will put a slider on you soon! Allgasnobrakes.

C&S Promotions has made the decision to shorten their 2019 season with the Star Spangle 200 being the last race. We want to thank Stephenville Starter Store, Race On Texas, Five1seven Designs, and Rude Judes Snack Shack for an AMAZING season as well as the racers, their crews and families and MOST importantly the FANS! We truly APPRECIATE each and every one of you! We will see everyone at the awards banquet on November 23rd and/or at a race track near you!
There are many race tracks around TEXAS. Please enjoy one or more weekend nights playing in the dirt. We promise you won't regret it! Below is a list to help you find one near you.

June 28 (Friday)The Texas Wing Modified Association returned to Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX, Friday night! Along with the Wing Modifieds, were all the weekly classes including the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Southern SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Sport Compacts. Don’t forget, next Friday, July 5, Heart O Texas Speedway will host their Annual Fireworks Show that features the $1,000 to win IMCA Modifieds plus a full racing program! Check out all the exciting racing action and family fun from Friday night below:
Modified Feature Winner: Justin Radcliff, No. 11j, picked up his first IMCA Modified feature win of the season! William Gould, No. 60, had a solid second, Kevin Green, No. 5, was third, David Goode Jr., No. 7g, was fourth and Jerad Herring, No. 1h, was fifth. Eric Tomlinson, Dwayne Grantham, Derek Scott Jr., Cody Daniel, and Adam James, rounded out the top ten. Fourteen cars started the feature.
William Gould passed the leader several times only to have a yellow come out. William ended up second.

SportMod Feature Winner: Eddie Grmela, No. 11g, held off Sid Kiphen, No. 58, for the exciting win! Chris Cogburn, No. 60, was third, Jeff Shepperd, No. 17, was fourth and Gregory Muirhead, No. 22, was fifth. Taylor Florio, Brandon Geurin, Joe Aramendia, Garett Rawls, and Damon Hammond, rounded out the top ten. Sixteen cars started the feature.

Stock Car Feature Winner: This was the first of two feature wins for Jeffrey Abbey. Jeffrey also won the Factory Stock feature! Andy Roller, No. 63, was second, A.J. Dancer, No. 52, was third, Brandon Hood, No. 1b, was fourth and Westin Abbey, No. 12, was fifth. Robert Black, Ryan Powers, Travis Norman, Ray Vann, Jason Batt, John Frydrych, and Eddie Thompson, rounded out the field.

Street Stock Feature Winner: The best race of the evening! Benji Kirkpatrick, No. 13, took the lead on the first lap of the 20-lap feature. Spun out on the third lap and was sent to the back of the field. Eighteen laps into the twenty-lap feature, Benji got the lead back and the exciting feature win! Wade White, No. 68, ended up second, Tommy Kirjkpatrick, No. 71, was third, Greg Andrews, No. 8a, was fourth and Kevin Smith, No. 57, was fifth. David Khoury, Will Arnold, Joe Williams, Eddie Thompson, and Billy Rupert, rounded out the top ten. Seventen cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: Picking up his second feature win of the evening was Jeffrey Abbey, No. 77j! HOT has always pulled in a good amount of cars. It is a nice track actually on of our favorites. For us the Friday night thing just kills our chances of racing there on a regular basis. I have always wondered how it would do if they ran on Saturday. It would be #1 or #2 on my list of tracks to attend.
