That's a wrap on the 2023 South Texas Race Ranch point season. From a fan's perspective, it was a great year, a lot of good races, well run shows, and a lot of hard work put in by the drivers and crews and the track officials. Once the final points are posted, I will make a post congratulating the track champions. Thank you to the staff and the drivers for an entertaining season and looking forward to the South Texas Shootout December 7-9 which is always good and brings the best drivers from the region into town.

Top 3 pulled away again as Heinaman and Gaither battle hard for 4th.

Heinaman and Gaither have caught the top 3 now.

Kulhanek with the Sprint car line charges to the front but followed closely by Rye and Torres. Heinaman, Gaither, Freeman, Sewell and Carlucci round out the field but top 3 nose to tail.

Rye with a good start but gets tapped and stalls in 2 but complete restart. Carlucci to hot pit for tire change.

Preston with an aggressive pass out of 2 to gain the lead, Freeman and Titzman get around but Freeman finds the infield. Titzman all over Preston at halfway. Witzsche and Freeman closing in.

Witzsche with a slow start almost wads up the whole field then cars go sliding all over the place. Jackson collects Johnson then Jackson spins, Thompson, Schmidt also join the spin cycle. Witzsche, Preston, Freeman, Titzman, and Porter top 5 on restart. Witzsche, Preston and Freeman were 3 wide out of 4 before the caution.

Wild ride for Waddups as he gets spun by Freeman and gives him a nice thump under caution ending his night. Showing Witzsche, Preston, Freeman, Jackson, and Johnson top 5 on restart.

Witzsche looks strong but caution out as Sheffield spins in 2. Will be Witzsche, Waddups, Preston, Jackson and Freeman top 5 on restart.

Witzsche and Porter inch away but Porter gets it sideways, Preston spins to avoid gets collected by Freeman. All refire, Porter to the rear, Preston and Freeman get their spots back. Witzsche, Waddups, Sheffield, Preston and Jackson top 5 early.

Gregory inching away but Carroll is slowly reeling the leaders in but will probably run out of time.

Gregory quickly to the point but being hunted by Whitmire, Carroll, Liese, McSpadden, Green and Guest round out the field but the top 2 are gone. Gregory holding off a hard charge from Whitmire.
