The 2023 season concludes this weekend and judging by the amount of cars pitting in the spectator parking lot, many have had this weekend circled on their calendar for awhile. At the time of this post, just short of 200 cars across Six classes will take on the surface at the South Texas Race Ranch. The card is as stacked as the pits tonight as we will have two sets of heats for EMod, Pure Stock, Limited Modified and Factory Stock. Joining the dance card is a full night of racing for the Late Models and Micro Mods. Weather is night, pits are overflowing and the smell of race fuel is in the air. Come on out or watch along with Race on Texas as we close the 2023 season with a bang. All Results are Unofficial and commentary is based on my observations from the stands and I have no contact with track officials during the event.

According to our meteorologist extraordinaire, weather will be great, 50s-60s tonight and tomorrow night but cold front coming in Saturday afternoon will drop temps to the 40s Saturday night and anyone that has been to the Ranch, it feels 10 degrees cooler there than in the city. Bring something warm Saturday night.

Couple of other informational posts regarding this weekend

They had a bad storm roll through and I know the press box was severely damaged. I'll try to find the post but it was on their Facebook page. The past few years Cord had a lot of help updating the bleachers and the buildings/grounds in general.

This page is still up and people are still reading it. Hopefully I won't be on call the December race. Not sure if I'll be anywhere else until then. Hope TRP can make the necessary repairs, I know Cord and Owen and that group spent a lot of time and money updating it.
